I'd heard great things about this club and decided to book a table there for my 21st birthday. This was the biggest regret of my life! The club opened at 11pm I arrived at 11:30 ,was told the club was too packed and had to wait until a table became available. After giving me false hope I was then told that I had o chance of getting into the club, EVEN THOUGH I saw people coming in and out. Their communication is appalling! I booked this table over the phone and was told I'd have no problems with getting in. To make things worse they lied about having booked a table for me at Libertine, just to get me to leave the queue. They completely ruined my birthday, I would not recommend this club to anyone.
This club is a joke. Here's why... The people had us waiting 1hour outside the club to tell us we had no chance of getting in. Some guy at the door which happened to be the same colour as us had to break the news to lessen the impact. We had all arrived super early and dressed appropriately intact even better than the people who were in from and behind and they said the reason we couldn't get in after demanding a reason from a guy that worked there was that only the "spending tables" would get in. This made no sense as the group of 9 people ahead of us had just went in and paid a big £20 each . They radio people and talk about you to confirm whether you will get in the club in advance and when you get to the front they try and soften the impact , when you have just waited all that time in the cold might I add. Please bare in mind the security guards let the white girls que jump or the mixed girls with bone straight hair. When you get rejected from the club on the other side of the road there are club promoters that try and get into other clubs such as Dirty Harrys and what not. All the guest list people say is sorry you didn't get in. But that's obviously not good enough! To be honest I'd prefer if they told me I had no chances of getting in on arrival instead of waiting all that time like an absolute fool. In addition it's terrible practice to decline someone from the club for no apparent reason. This club is tacky and superficial and I believe this a valid reason to score it a well deserved 1/5. If I could give it a 0 I would :.
WORST CLUB EVER. We joined the guestlist and told we would get in for free but was then made to pay. Which is no problem but don't give out false advertisement. There are seats everywhere there is no space to even dance. This club is an actual joke. People were constantly pushing past us because there's no space because of all the seats. There's loads of mini tables which is a danger to everyone they should not be there. Staff are not professional at all, they just push you out the way when they are trying to get to another side of the club. It's very disrespectful. Really disappointed. Who comes to a club to sit down? The vibe of the club was just uncomfortable. You can't enjoy yourself when you're being pushed around every minute. If you want to go somewhere where you're pushed around and can't have a real good time this is the place to be if not its a total waste of money. They said it was an "elite" club but honestly it's pure trash.
I attended Paper this weekend and it didn't disappoint! Such a great new club to hit London. Door staff & bar staff were really helpful and the dancers were incredible. I would advise booking beforehand or getting there early like I did to avoid the queue.
Is that a change I can give -1 star?? Ridiculous night out at this club when I was accused my a member of management to be under cocaine? Are we for serious?? On which basis do you employee people? The more they are rude and unpolite and unprofessional the higher the chance to get a job here apparently. My night started at my arrival when I was told by the Supervisor Asian boy that I had to leave my bag into the cloackroom because of company policy. After repeatedly told him I was feeling better keeping my bag on myself he was inviting to leave after paying £20 entry of course. So I listened and put everything on the cloackroom. Bought a bottle of wine at the bar. Had a nice evening to be honest...I am a professional in the city, rarely go out as I work very hard and I am on my 30. This is a particular I want underline as the treatment I have received is absolutely unacceptable. As I was leaving I went to the cloackroom to collect my coat and bag. The lady who works there Natalia could not understand what she was doing as she was visibly not in herself...shw handed me a bag that was not mine. I immediately gave it back and said this is not mine. In the meantime another customer came to the cloakroom claiming that the bag she was given was not hers. I looked at the bag and realised that was my bag...you can imagine my face, my worries and my disappointment as my documents, credit card and debit card contacless, phone, house key was given to another person and Natalia was about to do the same giving another person's bag to me. I then went to the bar and asked to speak to a manager. The bartender called the manager apparently and while waited there no one came over me to ask what the matter was. Asian guy again standing in fron of me drinking coca cola not bothered from the fact I was waiting for him. I then went outside and tried to call the police...which told me the crime was not committed and they could not do anything. While I was at the phone the real Manager came over few times name is Moris I think with a very bad attitude and saying I am waiting long time for you and then left. At this point I was at the other side of the road trying everything to get these people sorted as they obviously do not know what they are doing. When I went back to the entrance and tried to explain the situation to the manager, security tried to push me...I was fuming!! Not surprising after seeing how the management behaves towards customer. I have told the manager the cloackroom lady was definetely under the influence of substances as she could not understand me and her noise kept dropping. The manager did not for a moment apologised for what happened. Not a minimum sign of emphaty or concerned from the fact I said I will complain yo head office. He told me I was under cocaine and please complain...my name is bla bla bla. I honestly recommend you as a company to send your staff to management courses, how to manage a complaint and speak to people. Might get your managers and Supervisor back to school. I am interested in seeig where is your company policy regarding not having bag on you while into the club!!! Because if you dint have it I also want a refund and a big apologise for being accused to be under the influence of cocaine. I never had it in my life. I would like a direct apology from the manager Moris. This is unacceptable for the name of the place that just reopened. You are not doing your job properly I am sorry.
Incredible. Thank you Paper for sorting out the best VIP table for my birthday. Music, staff and vibe was spot on. 5*
Had the best night, club was busy and everyone was having fun. Music was great! I'll be back again soon...
Soooo many beautiful people! Can be tough to get a walk-in on weekends so I'd recommend putting yourself on the guestlist or booking a table.
Experience the Worst customer service here Staff doesn't know how to communicate politely and we had high level of expectations from here but all failed ! Worst place to spend your night
Nice atmosphere, nice staff , nice music ... enjoy it !!!
