Excellent tea and cake. Very good facilities small car park. There are great walks along the river and it is all dog friendly. If you want a nice day out it is a lovely place to visit. Lol watch out for all the cyclist thought there were about 50 when the wife and visited but they are great. As I have said a very nice place to visit.

It is very nice here but the vegan option is limited to black tea and coffee and the only food offering was a soup that was served with bread and butter even though I made it clear I didn't want butter. There is  a large selection of cakes but no vegan ones. I would really like to see just one. Maybe just a chocolate brownie as they are easy to make and taste no different to standard brownies.

I love this place. Sitting on the edge of the canal next to the lock the tea rooms are in a beautiful tranquil location. They offer a good array of food but the cakes are great and are in generous measures. The cream teas are huge and one is more than enough for my wife and I. This is a great place to enjoy a walk along the canal in either direction. As long as you visit the tea Room then parking is free. There are indoor tables as well as plenty of picnic tables outside.

Excellent gem of a tea room.  Great sandwiches- always filled well, no skimping on fillings.  I love this place winter or summer.

Walked 6 miles for a good slice of cake and decent coffee in a picturesque location next to a working lock.
