Service depends on the mood of the person working, some friendlier than others. Coffee is average. Food is overpriced. If you're Italian you may have a better experience. Cafe beam down the road is a lot better. Ignore the times stated, they'll open whenever they feel like.
I’ve been here 5 times, each time a disappointment. The staff are unprofessional, they chat to each other very loudly in Italian while serving you. Making you feel like you are inconveniencing them by trying to buy stuff. They don’t know the prices of things. They give you the wrong weight I asked for 100gr of cheese I got 350gr - and got charged accordingly. The ice cream has one price range but when you get charged it’s more. When I asked why they said they charge extra for the cone! Maybe they should have put that on the price ticket or told me verbally, except they were too busy talking loudly to each other to actually engage with me. Much better to go to the deli up the hill which is only 5 minutes away and has a much better range and staff that are interested in engaging with customers.
This place could have been better as the owner is very nice. The staff is quite often rude and the products like cheese or Italian sausages aren't always fresh.
Super nice little cafe style shop. TONS of things to look at. Lots of wines, cheeses and everything tasty!
They making the best "Melanzane di Parmigiana " in town , plus the staff is friendly and professional.
