Visited for the first time the other week and I have to say I wish I had come sooner! There is definitely something for everybody on the menu, and I love the little twists on classics with the cocktails and desserts. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and I can’t wait to go back and try some more of the delicious food! This is a must visit
Went there spontaneously. They had seatings inside and outside. Decided to sit outside as the weather was good plus they has patio heating outside. It was lovely atmosphere. Inside probably opposite due to loud music. Customer service was excellent. Very smooth service. I had high expectations for food but I'm afraid it wasn't quite what I expected. I felt that the food didn't have much taste and could have been better. The butter chicken was OK. The Biriyani probably the best thing there. Everything else I'm afraid was not great in taste.
Been meaning to go here and when I finally did found it to be okay. The menu is really cool and we opted for a selection of dishes so we could try variety. The samosa chick peas starter was pretty good, as was the Pani puri and a very generous portion of the chicken biriyani. The green Tikka chicken with masala fries and cumin caeser was also good except the chicken looked burnt and it very dry inside. Think there was supposed to be salad with this dish but don't recall any . The Pau bhaji was very nice. Although not enough bread but presentation wise two rolls only would fit on the plate. Cocktails were pretty good. If it wasn't for the fact that the outdoor table we were seated at was on a slant and the waiter knocked over my drink I would have rated the place higher. Also service was a bit hit and miss and we had to call for attention several times. I think I would prefer indoor seating if I returned. Outdoor tables seemed so congested and I organized. Still a cool but casual place to get a bit, service could be quicker. Although do appreciate the waiter being honest about ordering starter and mains at the same time before it got busier.
Disclaimer, in Finland we don’t have proper Indian food. That been said, this was probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Super tasty, good amount of heat and topped with amazing service! Highly recommended!
I happened upon this gem and so glad I did! The staff were so kind and helpful! The food was incredible! I wish I could have tried the entire menu! My server recommended the chai and Pau Bhaji which I would also recommend. The spices and flavors in everything were impeccable.
Polling day on Thursday and so my son's school was closed so we decided to have a family day out in London. Little man is 5 years old and a little picky so we stick to places he is happy to eat, Pizza Express usually. We usually eat with him but as we were out and about we stumbled on this place around the corner from PE. Wife has a nut allergy and so we need to be mindful with Indian places but owner/manager came out and assured us that apart from most deserts its a nut free kitchen...nice. Like the other staff he attentive and friendly. We sat out side as it was warm rare occasion. The food is styled, presented and portioned likely and they have a decent collection of cocktails, mocktails and softs. The food was ok, Mrs had a Grilled Chicken See image and I had a Thali, and got an extra Garlic Naan to share. Whilst the tandoori didn't have the intense flavour of charcoal and tandoor it was fine. The masala chips were decent and the mint sauce was nice too but the Gun powder potatoes were a bit lacking in flavour due to being boiled first. That Thali was ok, good choice and everything tasted different, Keema was the best. The Gulab Jamun was lavely! I had a masala chai after and for me it was a little too peppery but its a personal thing. For where you are, what you get in terms of flavour, portion and cost its a good place to grab something to eat and go on. Wouldn't really say its a place you would go for a meal out to, you would go before heading somewhere else...if that makes sense. Decent never the less and would recommend if you're near Oxford Circus and want an Indian meal with traditional Indian food, nice selection of drinks...worth checking out. Best things - Service, Setting, Keema Curry, Portion Size Worst thing - Gunpowder potatoes lacked a bang! Meats are halal and its nut and cash free establishment.
Visited here with friends and ordered a huge spread of items. Everything from the drinks to starters to main course were really good. Vada Pav, panner tikka, hara bara kabab, veg biriyani was all great. My friends who tried the meat dishes said it was great too. dishes which were ok pani puri, chicken 65 more like bhajji, from what was told by my friends Cocktails were good too. Ambience was normal, served in normal steel plates. But the prices where expensive for the experience. That’s the reason for not giving 5 star.
What a find! Phenomenal food, great flavours, intersting choices and good portion sizes! Service was impeccable - Vincent was so friendly and helpful as was our waitress should I have said server?. Can't wait to come back again - truly scrumptious!!
Our order came after waiting around an hour. Small expensive portions. Attached photo for Grilled corn on the cup side dish was not enough even for a bird. Although the chicken biryani was tasty, our recommendation to make it less spicy was forgotten.
A hidden gem, absolutely amazing flavours and best service I've experienced in a long time. Authentic Indian food with no compromise. Our server Maisey was an absolute star, so friendly and polite. Can't wait to go back again
