The service and telephone manner is terrible and unprofessional. Even with driving to and from the store to pick up our order 5 minutes down the road, the pizza looked and tasted as if it had been sat there for over an hour, all dried out and crispy meats. The pizza wasn't even hot after a 2 mile drive up the road. The dough twists were also the same, dry, luke warm and barely any garlic butter. Then when trying to complain, the member of staff refused to offer any good will gesture after speaking with his manager and any information as to who made the pizza or who the manager was to complain to head office. As a regular of this store i find this level of customer service unacceptable and needs more attention to detail. Kurt Evans

Placed a order for delivery.. and after an hour I checked the phone app for delivery status. It said it had been delivered and to enjoy. Erm no it hadn't. I rang up to question this and the man on the phone said it will be with me soon and blamed the weather. (the shop is ten minutes drive to my house and roads were clear) he assured me it was on its way and it was just freshly made by him. I said fine. 25 mins later my partner rang up frustrated as our order still hadn't arrived. The same guy answered the phone and told my partner that they don't actually have a delivery driver, that they was waiting for him to show up to work. Not only did he lie to me when I rang first, he had the cheek to tell my partner that he told me this over the phone! How dare he! My partner vented his anger of course he knew he was lying to him about what he told me. He asked to cancel the order and the man working for papa johns on the phone (Sunday 19th march 13.51pm) couldn't care less. Over a hour and half to find out our order was never actually on its way or was ever going to be. WHY accept the order if no driver was available? and WHY LIE to a customer. Disgusted with your customer service. Anyway ordered dominoes and it came within 20mins. Just goes to show doesn't it.

Placed my order online and went in for collection only to find out there was a problem with their systems and the pizza was not ready. Then went through a lengthy process of explaining I'd paid for it (despite this the man expected me to re-order and repay?!?!), and finally the pizza was made. We asked for the Mexican but it was more like a vegetarian judging by the amount of meat on it, and it was definitely not as cheesy as they make out in the adverts. Overall, a very disappointing first experience of Papa John's. Won't be going back .
