So first time here. I ordered the liver pate was really tasty, but not enough bread for the amount of pate and jelly...my son ordered the king prawn starter, was okay but sauce was too salty so he picked prawns out and ate them without the soaked bread and sauce. Now here's the crux. I ordered a carbonara. Which is my favourite and i have ordered 100 times before in various restaurants. This time i was told by the possible owner of the restaurant, that the carbonara has pork. I said yes i know. My son and i are brown. I said i am Sikh. I know Muslims dont eat pork and i can only assume he pointed it out to ME specifically because he thought i dont eat pork. He then went on explaining that oh i like to make sure my customers ate happy and know blah blah blah. I watched people come in after us, order and not have the ingredients clarified for them. I didnt want to make a fuss because my son is only 12 and did not pick up on the clear racism, implying that if we are muslim we cannot eat the dish. Assuming we are muslim because im brown and my son is a haircut sikh. We ate our carbonara which he split into 2 plates as if he was doing us a massive favour my son and i would just have shared from one bowl, as we had starters and neither of us are big eaters but ok never mind. I was left with a feeling of unease and after that found it hard to relax. We ate and packed our dessert order, paid and left. I doubt i will go back, which is a shame, because my husband and other 3 children all live very locally and would have liked a good local italian. But as they all look like me and my 12 year old son, i dont want to be given unsolicited advice about what i may or may not be allowed to eat based on my skin colour.
Lovely place we found as somewhere to eat on our way to a show at the Arena. Easy access off the M62. Food delicious, atmosphere and venue modern and fresh and the whole team really friendly. Food amazing. Highly recommended. UPDATE: We'll be going back as we've just booked another show at the Arena. See you again soon.
Food was sooo tasty and service top notch! We ordered prawn linguine and a calzone, both were incredibly tasty. The staff here are so helpful and friendly and really do try their best to accommodate to everyone. The interior is also beautiful and clean. There was a slight mix up with the bill and a few items on there that we never had but this mistake was soon rectified. I look forward to returning :
Lovely evening dinner with amazing food and not rushed, so plenty of time between courses to relax and chat. Perfectly cooked food and Italian wines to match; delightful aperatif and digestif plus coffee too. Highly recommended.

My partner and I went for our anniversary, the staff were really pleasant and attentive. Our food arrived really quickly and it tasted absolutely delicious. I had the rigatoni and my partner had the calzone, the beef in the rigatoni absolutely melted in your mouth it was beautiful, the dough on the calzone was so soft and perfectly cooked. My partner drank the house red which he said was the nicest house red he'd had in a long time and I had a Bellini finally a place that actually knows how to make one!. Thank you to your staff for such a lovely night, the food, the decor, the drinks and the service were perfect.
First rate service - very friendly, efficient and helpful. Good seelction on the menu and all the food very well cooked and great to eat. Prices also very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Real authentic Italian food, gives you the taste as though your on holiday and actually in Italy with its vibrant atmosphere and Italian workers. Italian music in the background gives it that Italian feel also. Prices are very cheap, very affordable and very family friendly, highly recommended and will be going again and cant wait. Thank you again and thank you for your brilliant services and making us feel very welcome from start to finish
