I am one of the regular customers of Papa John's and on my order today I was delivered my usual order of 1 chicken fajita papadias and 1 Philly mushroom papadias along with some dips. To my surprise, my Philly mushroom papadias were incorrectly packed at the store and I had Philly cheesesteak papadias in the box of Philly mushrooms which I took a few bites of before realising this. I do not consume beef as it goes against my religion of being a Hindu. On calling the store at Crawley Gossop Parade I was first told that my order was a Philly cheesesteak before I had to correct them to mention that my order was correct and I didn't order a Philly cheesesteak. This was followed by the store then saying they tried to contact me which I didn't pick up. This was also incorrect because the delivery driver mentioned that the call from the store was to mention that they didn't have the dips I ordered and hence they gave me other dips instead. Again I had to ensure that the store was not trying to cover this up and make it seem like I was at fault for not picking up the call.nAfter understanding that it was a mistake by the store and trying to push the blame on me which I had to correct, the store apologized and I had to insist they send the correct order ASAP.nI have emailed to complain as this is unacceptable.
My order went missing after over an hour I called to check was told an Uber driver had picked up the delivery I didn't order via Uber I placed the order on the website I was told it will be sent out again ! Forward 20 minutes a man arrived at my door asking me lots of questions about said pizza like I was not telling the truth about said missing pizza told me they had called me a few times which they didn’t I had my phone right by me the whole time! He then rudely asked me to call the store when they answered the phone the man at my door said that is the manager speak I couldn’t believe this service some Random man at my door being so rude then said manager on the phone also rude! Pizza finally arrived I like papa johns but I’m afraid after this service I won’t order again! No delivery company should send a random man knocking on doors in the dark to ask questions over a £15 pizza!!!
Ordered my pizza at 2120. It is now 2300 and it has not arrived. I have tried phoning them but no answer and then cuts out. Terrible service. Happy to take your money but not provide what I have paid for. Dominoes from now on I think.
Ordered two vegan and non dairy ben and Jerry. We received the order pizza were good. Then we went to eat the ice cream and found out it was the milk version, not the vegan ice cream. We rang up ànd complained about it they basically lied saying the had no vegan ice so they sent milk type. We ask for refund on the ice cream, that's when suddenly the manager realised it was a mistake and sent out a non fairy ice cream.nnWe place the the dairy ice in the bin as we don't eat dairy. The delivery driver drop the non dairy ice cream then requested the dairy ice cream out of the bin. I assume this is for re sale.
Can't comment on the food as it never turned up!! Apparently, there's a drivers strike, so why take delivery orders? Quick to take your money, rubbish customer service, lied that it was out for delivery after about an hour and a half in the checking bit. Then showed as being delivered after 2hrs from ordering, definitely not to us! Don't waste your money with them!!!!
