Beautiful park, amazing Views of the Abbey and church. Flowers are stunning. Lovely park at the top for the children to let off some steam. Lovely relaxing walk, plenty of shaded areas too lots of bench's so you could take a picnic or grab some chips from Whitby. Highly recommend for families looking for something to do that isn't costly

Beautiful park, an oasis of calm midst the Whitby crowds and well maintained by excellent staff. Good, fascinating museum and gallery. Teashop worth finding. The museum is mentioned in the Whitby Witches, wonderful classic childrens book by Robin Jarvis...good to see it real life with its curiosities and insights into Whitby life. Highly recommend everything here.

Amazing place. Its a lot larger then it looks, and it has a gorgeous selection of scenery including statues and a fish pond. Theres a museum and a kids park too. Offers wonderful views of Whitby town, and you can even see the cathedral in some higher spots. Loved it

Great Museum with friendly staff an don't forget to check out the lovely hidden tea room below. The park is a bit steep but does have a wheelchair route around it which is good planning. There is a very nice looking play area for kids beside the museum building too.

Lovely park with great play structures. Parking available nearby also toilets available inside the Whitby museum. The fact that is soon close to the museum is double bonus. When the kids were tired enough energy spent, they were tame enough to go inside and have their minds exercised and enlightened :). Superb in summer, the garden area is well kept and plenty of seating available.
