Opening times were not as per google. Made a journey out late as Pangs was advertised as being open until 22:00. Cannot comment on the food as we went away hungry. Sadly a waste of time.

It’s Monday night in Frome and me and the missus fancied a curry. What’s open in Frome on Monday night? Not a lot! So we opted for Pangs. Biggest mistake we’ve ever made. It was awful 30 years ago and it still is. Rank chicken off the bone and stingy portions. Never again. Never go back, remember that! Not worth a star but unfortunately I have to give one to write this terrible review.
A locals chippy. Went in with my father-in-law who swears this is the best chip shop in Frome but I was very disappointed. We had to wait for over half an hour for our food. My chow mein was sloppy and tasteless. I tried a few chips and wasn't impressed with them either. Cod portion really small compared to everywhere. Only 3 stars because everyone else seemed satisfied, if it was just me 2*. But the owner Rob was very friendly and everyone seemed to know him
Terrible food, terrible service. Tasteless curry sauce, tasteless fish cakes, just generally tasteless and a massive waste of money. All the food ended up in the bin. Don’t bother wasting your time or effort. Also they don’t accept card payments…cash only. Very annoying.
The original Frome chinese take away run by the Pang family since the 1960's. Longlevity says they must be doing something right.
Not bad not bad ! The chips are freshly cooked and the staff are very friendly!
Great chips and Battered sausage at a good price with quick and happy service. Definately the best in Frome!
I had king prawn with noodles and it's was awful, extremely greasy, noodles were undercooked, some of the prawns with shells, and just half of the container with noodles. Extremely disappointed and definitely don't recommend, the only thing good in there was the service.......
Pang's Chinese food and fish restaurant offers good quality take away food, however to avoid disappointment one is advised to phone your order through so a prompt pick up can be made. Enjoy
