Ordered £30 worth of food for the containers to be half empty. Usually share a rice between 2 people, couldn’t even feed 1 person with tonight’s portion. Instead of refund the rice or compensate for having to drive back they’d rather refund the entire £30 order and hand the food back!

I would give 0 stars if I could. The chicken was rock hard and the curry was absolutely vile. I would advise anyone to avoid this place
I have had a Chinese take away from here lots of times and the food has been LOVELY, tonight however the chicken was dry and not edible, it was so hard to cut I had to cut it with a steak knife, the prawn crackers were stale and not crispy like normal, I rang to ask if I could have a replacement but was refused, all they could give me was a £5.00 voucher for the next time I order, I told them that I would not be ordering from them again and took my food back to the takeaway and asked them to try, they refused but said they cut the chicken up and it did not look dry. I would advise anyone to try another Chinese from now onwards like I will be.
Used Golden Inn several times but sadly today was the last. Boiled Rice was solid stodge, 3 chicken dishes all chicken very dry and over cooked. Lemon sauce was lovely as was the sweet and sour. Used to be great food, last time was drop in quality, this time quite a lot headed to bin . Sorry guys.... Food was purchased 6.30 pm on 05/07

Consistently great food. Thank you! The only thing I'd suggest to improve would be make it easier to see the menu on a phone. Just a list on a web page would be helpful!
Food is very tasty. Each different dish tastes different as it should. We get all chinese take out from here and usually collect - several times they have missed items off our order which is annoying because by the time I've driven back to get the missing dish when I've got back home the rest of the food is cold and if you ask them to deliver the missing item if can be up to an hour before you get it!! So if you're collecting check it's all there.
Ordered egg fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce with green peppers, and sweet and sour battered chicken. The person who took my order on the phone was clear and well spoken. They were able to take a card payment over the phone, which was good. The food arrived after about 45 mins, which matched what they estimated over the phone. The food portions were good sizes, and they had added a bag of prawn crackers for free, which was nice. Unfortunately the egg fried rice was very stodgy, and stuck together in big lumps, as well as not tasting very nice. The chicken in black bean sauce was passable, although ideally the sauce could have been thicker, and the vegetables seemed very slightly underdone. The sweet and sour battered chicken was good and tasty, but not among the best I've had. The prawn crackers were as good as I've had anywhere else. All in all, the service side of things was very good, but the food was not quite what I'd consider restaurant quality. It was not expensive, but I expected it to be better for the price.
