Visited the restaurant a couple of times. Great food, friendly staff and very nice atmosphere. I reccomend this place.
Booked here for food with the family, including 2 kids. Not our first time here as the food is always reliably nice and not overly expensive. The only problem was there were other young kids in the restaurant with their heads in phones or tablets, which is normally ok. But their devices were exceptionally loud and listening to Peppa pig and baby shark from different corners of the restaurant was not ideal. We just need to consider this going forward and either avoid the place altogether or book late at night.
We reserved a table for 5 people on Monday night at 8pm. Starters were almost finished by the time I had reminded them to bring out my starter. Main course was nice with the exception of the lasagne. Mist of the deserts requested from the menu weren't available. We asked for coffee only to be told that the machine was turned off for the night. They close at 10 - this request was long before that. By 9.30, they were closing down the shutters and couldn't wait to shove us out the door. I had heard of a similar experience from a friend a few years ago but we thought perhaps they had improved their service - we won't be returning even if that was the last restaurant in the whole area. And we definitely won't recommend it to anyone.
We visited the place on Sunday afternoon without booking in advance, it was kinda busy, but we were lucky to get a table, 5 of us. The food and service was good, but there's room to improve. The table wasn't as clean as I would like it to be.
