Joel's is a great restaurant. It can be a bit pricey but we mostly use it as a special occasion. I've been here for my 21st, my sister and my cousin's 21st, meal for after confirmation, my first date was here. Whenever we want to celebrate as a family Joel's is the place to go. There can be a long wait particularly on Saturday night or bank holidays but you don't mind that because you can have a drink or a cocktail while waiting!

I love the staff in Joel's and eat there nearly every week. My husband and myself go here because the staff create a great repor with their customers. The waitresses are fantastic and always smiling and interested in what you are saying to them. We go nearly every Tuesday and our drinks and order are ready in a flash. There are also two managers there who are so nice and make our visit very special each week. I always send my guest around to this restaurant when they come to stay in my home. The only downside is the menu, while the food is delicious, I find it has the same items on now for too long a time. I would like to suggest they start adding some new dishes to their menu. Well done to All the staff there.

Always love Joel's restaurant. Decor, staff and food. Great value for money. Some of the wait staff are there years. A good sign. Free hassle free parking.

We had to wait 1hr for a table, the food was nice but it was brought in dribs and drabs. My daughter was finished her main before I got mine. My niece had a hair on her prawns, we did complain and her meal was replaced. They were very busy it was like there was not enough staff on Sunday 20 April 2018

Starter was crispy chicken strips that were a bit too crispy. Gaining the attention of staff was done by inverting a cylindrical lamp on the table turning it to red. This didn't help as staff took up to 15 mins to notice it anyway.chips with the main course were poor and the chicken Maryland itself was more like a chicken fillet from Tesco. Not what it used to be.
