We have just been kept waiting for nearly 2 hours when we were told it would take 45 minutes maximum for delivery. The service was terrible and when we kept phoning up to check on our delivery they just kept lying and saying they were 10 minutes away. When the food finally arrived, after my girlfriend and I were starving, it looked and tasted absolutely disgusting!! the masaman curry looked like vomit and was disgusting and the thai red curry had no taste! We unfortunately had no option but to throw the food away and go hungry. We will never eat here again, and I would really encourage people not to eat here or give these rude people your service.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER! I honestly do not know how they are still even open!!! Disgusting service, disgusting food. Simply appalling. There was actually small black hairs in one of the dishes, another dish was completely squashed AND the other dish didn't even have the main ingredient in! I had to ring up THREE TIMES to eventually get a refund. One of the times I was hung up on and told "there is no time for this". The first time I called I asked for a refund and stated I was more than happy for them to take back the food. I was then told to call back in an hour as the only person who knows how to do refunds comes in then. I asked that I be called back when he arrives. Luckily I looked at their closing time and I was shocked to see that they were basically lying because they would be closed at that time! I called back again and asked to speak to the manager the reply I got contacted what I was told "he will be in the morning to do your refund". By that point I was fuming and did not get off the phone until I got my money back. Then he said in a very rude tone "we can send the driver back and give you your money but not if you have eaten any of it". The customer service is SHOCKING. The food is beyond trash and they are so overpriced compared to other Chinese takeaways that are so much better. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
food was delivered in a good time, the shame of it was that the said food was not edible! My best guess would be that the chef, I use the term chef purely to describe the person who prepared the food as there is evidently little to no cooking or food preparation knowledge present had a 'moment' with the pepper dispenser, it could well have been the old loosen the lid off prank! Now let me start by saying I am a hot head! I'm that annoying bloke in the curry house or local boozer that does the hot chilli challenges and cause families to leave with the sweat and profanities. BUT! I've never experienced a taste experience quite like this. I didn't think it was possible to have what I assume was chicken and beef look, feel and taste the way the did in this dish. And for the love of god ther was soooooo much pepper. I think my arse sneezed at one point. Now the noodles in with the meat, picture if you will dehydrated worms again likely dried out using pepper greased up in 3 week old school kitchen grease and we might be on the same page. The above was the same with all 4 noodle dishes, one was the fish one so There evidently all cooked in the same pan. Aside to the food I have to say the service was remarkably good. I mean I had a great opportunity to return the food as part of my order was missing so I had a really friendly delivery man come back with the rest of my order and after some phone calls and conversations I gladly let him take the order back and was happy that a refund was coming and I could aquiant my self with my toilet if required. But No a little over an hour later my dogs got a bit excited at the intruder knocking on my door. Who could it possibly be at 8.10 on fireworks night, I'm not expecting anyone neither are the rest of the family, ahhhh Guy Fawkes must be paying me a visit. If only. I was greeted by a fresh batch of noodles. Again the delivery guy is genuinely a nice guy. Now this batch is nice and hot so freshly cooked and not doused in pepper so result. I mean flavour isn't the best but either the fact of our stomachs thinking out throats had been split or the loss of will to live on did allow us to eat them. All in all despite the above slight misdemeanours and nearly 2 hour delay overall it's a Chinese takeaway with a difference. Make ofbthat what you will. Oh and the 2nd star is because we all got fortune cookies and I'm due something good by text message soon Enjoy
Duck was awful, had such a strange taste to it, very salty tasting! Lemon chicken was dry, even with the lemon sauce on it. The spring rolls are the worst I've even tasted! disgusting to say the least! The one star can go to the rice, about the only thing that was ok. Now this is the second time I've ordered from here, last time it was a Chow Main. It was not very nice either, but thought I'd give the place a second chance, definitely won't be giving it a third chance, that's for sure. It all just has he same weird and horrid taste to it! Definitely much better places around to order from.
We have a really bad experience with this restaurant via Hungryhouse website. They accepted our order and charged £23 and they never came. According to Hungryhouse they accepted but they decided it was too far away 20 min by far!
I ordered food for delivery - they sent me raw chicken and when I called them up about it, refused to believe me and said that they couldn't do anything about it. Ridiculous, terrible customer service. Never ever again.
It's a shame one person had a bad meal which has ruined the overall rating for Panda House. This is a good place, delicious food, reasonable prices and really good service.
Food more than half an hour late. Tried ringing restaurant, no one has picked up the phone.
Good food ,polite delivery, person nice receptionist
Very average cheap takeaway
