Perfect place to enjoy your evening : Lunch or a Dinner I’m very glad to say this I have been going to this place more than a decade and the taste gets better and better. I asked if the Shawarma sandwhiches comes with chips. They said *yes*. Bare in mind this dictated what I wanted to order. When the order was ready they decided that it doesn't actually come with chips. Why would they essentially lie to me? The food here was good and well priced about 8 years ago but seems to have gone downhill since. I'm not in the business of giving bad reviews and always try to give the benefit of the doubt but this really rubbed me the wrong way.
Hi I’m very upset with this restaurant. It’s normally my favourite but today everything was bad. First of all . The service. I was queuing first and I asked for a lamb shawarma. So the person who was serving got the lamb ready . And some other customers came in his queue and he served him the lamb. Number 2 he mixed old chips with new chips and did it infront of me. I feel so disappointed I probably can’t and won’t come back anymore.
I recently discovered this Lebanese restaurant. I’ve tried a few different things now and everything has been nothing but delicious. I find myself there rather often. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The food is spot on, all tied up with a friendly service! Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian falafel spreads available!Perfect for a family of mixed diets.
They make up their prices which I believe are racially motivated. Word of warning. I noticed another review stating a similar situation, I paid nearly £40 for 2 chicken donor meals not including the drink, they will never get my custom again. I went once before, ordering on the phone to collect and I got there and was told I had to wait for 10 minutes, ended up waiting a further 30 minutes for a mixed grill, awful service towards the British. Instabul is a few doors down and has bigger and fairly priced portions and have brilliant hospitality.
You can’t go wrong if you are craving that delicious doner kebab! The doners here are delicious and the salads are always fresh! I normally eat the doner wrap - but as I am on Keto diet I have asked them for only chicken doner & salad. Portion was amazing and they were very generous with the meat is very rare in our days to get such a great portion and I pay less than £10 for my meal - another rarity in our days in London. The meat is very tender and melts in your mouth, ps: if you get there pass to 8pm you might not get a change to have lamb doner as this always finish first as it very popular. Definitely returning very soon!!!
Best shish kebab and shawarma I’ve had on South London. Very tasty sauces and crunchy salad, the meat is perfectly barbecued. Excellent value for a quick and healthy meal.Food: 5/5
Very rude costumer service especially towards female who are ordering. I do not recommend anyone to go here and would advice the staff to learn some manners and change their behaviour towards others.Food: 1/5
Without doubt one of the best shawarma takeaways in London. If you're passing by, go in. You won't be disappointed. Everything about Gourmet and their shawarma is to rave about. The portion and flavour is spot on. Please branch out and open some more places. Chilli sauce salad boss!
