Lovely place very cosy, old building, beautiful though. We went for a birthday celebration. There was 8 of us. Food was very nice, staff good, would go again. I had chicken korma can't handle spice everyone enjoyed their food.
We ate here on a Sunday & took advantage of the Sunday Menu Offer - 1 Starter, Main & Rice or Naan for £19.50. All the food was delicious & very generous portions. Service was very friendly, but not overly so or pushy at all. Lovely atmosphere.
WOW! Best curry house in Solihull by a mile. Incredible food- I usually go for the black lentil, lamb and spinach dhal - attentive servers and beautiful ambience, it really doesn’t get much better than this.Food: 5/5
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea. However, we were disappointed with our dining experience. We ordered the mixed meat plate, which was served within 10 minutes—surprisingly quick. Unfortunately, the lamb chops were excessively salty and inedible. We informed the waiter, who kindly replaced the dish, but the new plate was overcooked to the point that it was difficult to cut with a knife. Regrettably, we had to leave without finishing the meal.
Located quite central in Solihull and visited based on feedback while visiting Solihull. As an Indian visiting an Indian restaurant was quite average. As an Indian restaurant the people were too cold, and felt very unwelcoming. Very general courtesy was missing, no greetings or smile on anyone’s face to start. They forgot to lit the candle on the table, the dessert bowl was broken. I was the first guest in the evening, still was asked to wait to see if they had table available. In 1 hour I was in the restaurant, there were 2 family who visited the first floor, the rest if the restaurant was empty, so pretending they have a busy restaurant with many reservations, hmmm…. Coming to food, it was average, nothing special just a regular Indian restaurant serving Indian food. The matka kulfi was the best, but don’t go with the pictures on the menu where it is loaded with Pistachios, I literally had just 1 Pistachio, literally 1 in the bowl.
Pleasant restaurant, staff were nice some not very clear when speaking but certainly friendly and welcoming. We had a dish with Chili and Garlic Paneer and also a Masala which were well executed and tasty. Peshwari Nann bread was drizzled in honey which was a sticky experience but very tasty. Onion Bhajis were nice, could have done with some mint yogurt. Drinks wise the Pepsi had no fiz but all else good. Price was very reasonable. Atmosphere was empty when we arrived but soon filled up, decor is nice but some areas need a bit of love. All in all a pleasant experience
Had food here couple of times now. Some nice and some not so nice.Food: 3/5
Had a lovely meal there. We have eaten here many times on previous visits to Solihull. Decided to go with several starters instead of main meals. Good sized portions and very tasty.Food: 5/5
Came here based on reviews for a birthday. Food was excellent as well as the service. Assan who was our waiter was friendly and well mannered.
We have eaten here several times and previously was good. This time when we phoned up to arrange but later cancel a table the staff member was incredibly rude and just ended the callService: 1/5
