All I have to say- they serve quite an average Indian food to be favorable enough for English people. No issues with that! However we being indians known what our different cuisines and food taste like! For example bhuna curry is mostly spicy and with loads of flavour, however the bhuna chicken curry here was sweet even though we made it clear that we don't want sweet tasting curry. And chicken tikka biryani is not even biryani, its chicken pulaow! Fried rice Overall very average indian restaurant. The food looks great though and service is good too.
Generous portion size’s and a really good price point which did not affect the quality of the food. The waiters are very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had an excellent dining experience.Food: 5/5
We had booked a table for 2 at 19:00 on a Thursday and were welcomed and offered a choice of available tables. The menu and food were excellent in both quality and quantity and when asked unfinished food was placed in containers and provided in a bag to take home. The service was attentive but not hovering and we were definitely not rushed and encouraged to stay as long as we liked for additional drinks - and indeed stayed until 22:00. The atmosphere was very friendly, relaxed and informal - a very pleasant evening, definitely to be repeated.

This place was recommended to us but we were really disappointed. Chicken Pokara starter with next to no chicken inside. Onion bhaji’s with a lack of Onions. Poppadom’s without a pickle tray, but a side plate with a small amount of salad on and some mint sauce. The mains were not much better, a lack of Chicken in both dishes. The Garlic Naan was nice though. The Service was good
Not very good. The onion bhaji was made in a factory and tasted awful. The chicken tikka was made from mechanically reclaimed chicken, again from a factory and tasted of fish. The bhuna sauce was ok. Not recommended.

Yet again, superb food, but the young guy doing some of the serving was clearly in a rush to get home. A shame really as it spoilt the moment for several of us. That said, the other guy had the customer service the younger guy lacked and did his best. With great food and extra After Eight mints, it still deserves four stars.
Food delicious as always and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The mint sauce from the Oasis is the best I've had. Decent sized portions and very reasonable. My go to curry house in Shirley! Will be back again soon
First went to this place in 1991 when it first opened and went there regularly for many years. I went back in 2019 for the first time in 20 years and I reckon the owner recognised me. Still great food and service. I hope to go again when I get back to the UK.
