Table booked for 18.30 hrs. Staff welcoming, friendly, kind courteous, smartly dressed, helpful with the menu, attentive. Restaurant clean, with comfortable seating, Great atmosphere. Brilliant choice of food and drinks. Excellent service and food was well presented and delicious. Highly recommend. Parking: Managed to park near the restaurant.
Food absolutely fantastic. From placing order to delivery informed of timescale. Food delivered hot and exactly what asked for. Would highly recommend. Wouldn’t go anywhere else food is exceptional. Keep it up all friends at Panahar
Waited about 2 hours for the takeaway order , called after an hour which they said it would be, that was fine and had no issues with that and said it will be about 10 minutes, then when it still wasnt here after another 20 minutea I called up again they said it was still on there way! Ended up calling again to cancel it and ordering from somewhere else. To top it off it got delivered 2 hours & 25 minutes after I originally ordered it, had to send the driver away and say we had cancelled the order 25minutes earlier! Really unacceptable and I think I will not be the only one making a complaint about the delivery. Can only imagine how cold the food would of been. Obviously I will not be using this restaurant/takeaway again...
Have not been to the Pan Ahar for a few years but went tonight with freinds for what was an excellent meal, the meal was served by very freindly but quiet staff who were not overbearing. It was all very reasonably priced and with a few rounds of drinks in was less than £25.00 per head, great value for money.
Appalling, food was bland and tasteless, staff were hopeless, allergies were ignored and then 2 out of 3 who ate they ended up ill
Lovely food, well presented. Friendly service throughout and quick. Always nice to receive a free shot at the end of the meal. It's been a few years since I've been but it's still as good as I remembered. Reasonably priced and offer meal deals on a Tuesday and Sunday.
Despite being really busy and short staffed we had a wonderful meal on new year's Eve. Perfect food as always. Thank you for your honesty with the length of time it would take for the food, but ensuring it was delicious! Still my favourite Indian restaurant ever!

Been several times over the last few months and eaten in at the restaurant, each time has been in the week and it has been very quiet. Every time the food has been very good, amongst the best I have had at any Indian and certainly the best in the North in my opinion, they are also happy to do variations on dishes should you request it. The staff are very friendly and have been very attentive every time I have been, the service has also been very quick, however this has always been in the week when quiet so I don't know if this changes at the weekend. They are reasonably priced for an Indian, not the cheapest but fairly average for the quality of the food. My only criticism would be the lack of Indian desserts, they do feature Gulab Jamun on the menu but will only have it in if you call ahead the day before and ask for it, this is fine unless you are going at the last minute! The ice cream they do is not Indian but is quite nice. All in all a very good Indian and one of my favourite restaurants.
Found a piece of metal with the main dish and my Dad choked. Put the rest of the family off the meal. Rang up straight after to arrange a refund and still waiting. Put us off ordering a takeaway again.
