One of the best parks in Reading to spend time with friends and family. The park has a good sand pit area for kids and an outdoor gym area for adults. The leisure centre is also very good. The swimming pool is a good one for beginners but not suitable for seasoned swimmers. The only downside is parking, if you come in any evenings both weekdays or weekends you will have a tough time finding a spot to park.
Fantastic modern venue with great staff. Lots of group classes with different difficulty levels. My favourite was Body Conditioning with Wendell I wish they had more of these as they were awesome and always packed full!!. Pool is great too, and plenty of lessons available for kids or adults.
We visited soft play there. Kids loved it wasn’t very busy on Saturday’s afternoon.nSomething that we never saw before at different soft plays is giant keyboard that you step on to play tunesgreat fun
We went there for a birthday party and visited the soft play area. The whole building at least the places we visited are very clean and nice. The soft llay area is a tall structure that doesn't occupy such a large area but it can certainly accommodate quite a few children and was more than big enough for the party and the couple of children there which weren't part of the party.nnThe only negative is that there was no-one in the coffee shop to cater to people for a long time.nnAlso, not a negative, more a suggestion, but music playing would have made the experience much much better.
Went in for soft play for the first time about a week ago. Just paid for the two kids, both of parents went in for free. No time limits. Went again today and different person was manning the reception and he made us pay 5£ for second parent and gave us 1 hour time limit. They will let you know over the speaker that your time is up. Big disappointment compared to the first visit impression. I guess next time we just pretend we don't know each other and go in separately to save 5£. No information about discounts for disabled children. Otherwise nice soft play.
