What a little hidden gem! We have had a few friends eat here over the years, but have never experienced it for ourselves. Having drove past it thousands of times over the years, were decided to go on a whim. We just dropped in with no reservation and was seated instantly. It was a bit quiet when we dropped in but started filling up as we ate. I played it safe with a Kiev pizza, which was delicious. My wife ordered a chicken based meal which was also delicious. The portions were good and prices were very reasonable. We're definitely going to go again and try a few different meals on the menu.

Decent enough menu, plenty of choice and my selection was tasty and a good size portion. Such a shame I was the only one in there. I know it was a Tuesday but there is s premier inn not 5 minutes walk away. I know where I would rather be eating.

My wife and I shared a cheese and tomato garlic bread pizza as a starter, it was excellent really tasty and less than £2 - 50 each. For the main course my wife had meat balls in a home made tomato sauce with pasta, she said it was delicious, I had chicken breast with bacon and gorgonzola, homemade chips and dressed salad, chicken was very slightly over cooked, otherwise spot on. Two large glasses of white wine and a bottle of Beck's. £34, excellent.

Good menu, both traditional English and Italian choices. Lovely building. Service is good and prices very reasonable.

On the whole a very nice meal. Good portion sizes and reasonable price. Friendly staff. Will be making a return visit.
