This place is honestly every hairdressers dream! I drove 45 minutes to this shop as a last minute emergency but I’m so glad I did! They have everything you can imagine for all hair types and are really helpful when helping you find what you’re looking for. I can see why some people would find it overwhelming as they do have 4 shops under the same company all doing different things, but once you know what shop you need it really is great! I also love the fact they’re open till 8pm everyday!

Too much stuff on too many isles, unless you know what you want and where it is, it's confusing. The staff are so helpful though. Two ladies spent ages trying to sort out a hair colour I wanted, and how to use peroxide. I'm Middle Eastern, and the customer base is mostly black women, but there is everything hairy related here, and other stuff. Including shoe polish!

Best price astral cream ever- and I checked Superdrug, eBay etc! Good prices on hair stuff tho many brands I don't know. Those brands I recognised for beauty items were cheaper or at least same as Superdrug

Pak’s cosmetic delivers to all customer from all ethnicities, catering for the most part for Afro-Caribbean people.  There is a wide range of products for Afro-Caribbean customers from relaxers to hair pomade, hair moisturisers, hair colours and natural ointments.  Pak’s Cosmetic owns the shop Pak’s Hair centre for Human hair weave, platting and clip on extensions two shops down on the same road.  On the opposite road they have Pak’s Wig World for synthetic, human hair wigs and ponytails. Next door is a shop by theirs, Pak’s Hair World with a wide range of synthetic braiding hair and crotchet hair.  Pak’s is well known to be supplying professional hair products and hair colours such as Redken, Wella Professionals and so on.  They have been around since 1967 and I’ve talked to customers in Paks from Paris, Switzerland and other parts of the world who shop here who’ve told me it’s hard to get products that they get from Pak’s in their place. People who work in the media come to shop here for their wigs and hair as Pak’s has made it easily accessible for customers to buy what they need in one place.  Customer service assistants are placed in every aisle of each shop to help customers as their products are stocked also quite high and low and with so many products in one shop they are there to help when looking for an item.  This place is a local legend in Finsbury Park, London and is definitely worth the visit.

Do not stop here!!! This place sells fake products!! I went to buy the share moisture conditioner, which I have used for used but this is the first time I purchased it in PAKs. Got home and started using it and I realise that the product felt different and left my hair feeling really dry, the packaging colour looks different side by side with the real one and also the product colour was white use it should be an Ivory colour!! I stopped using it and went to buy the real thing in Superdrug. This is not the first time I have heard they sell fake products but it was the first time I came across it!! STAY AWAY!!!

You will find everything you need for afro hair care here.  Very wide choice,  would have got five stars but Islington parking is very expensive during their peak times.  I now opt for their smaller Wood Green or Edmonton branches

In the many years that I have been a customer, I have never seen this shop employ any women of colour. Considering that the target clientele is black women, this is Very disappointing. Surely as a customer you would want to be advised by someone with an understanding of your needs and who can give credible suggestions.  I find that the staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming and I have witnessed employees having conversations whilst serving. I am sure the discussion could be held after the customer has left the store.  Whilst they do offer a wide range of products, skin/ hair care, hair tools and make up, I prefer to spend my money at other beauty supplies.

I think Paks are saying things are 100 % organic/ coconut/ argan oils etc when its not. I will be getting their products checked. ALL Paks treat black customers like their thieves. They follow you around the shop , and dont even hide it. They also very rude. We need to stop buying from Paks

Sent two items  back, refund for one. Postage has weight for the two items both items 16oz each. Also signed for but member of staff
