"Painted Lady Tattoo Parlour was established in 2008 in Northfield, Birmingham.Since then PLT has established itself as one of the go to places in Birmingham for custom tattoos. Our artists cover many styles of tattooing, so whether you want Japanese, traditional etc., we have you covered. They appear in UK and international magazines regularly and we have also had a number of talented artists from around the world guest with us. PLT provides custom designed work and welcomes walk ins. Feel free to drop in and have a chat about what you are looking to get tattooed or for a bit of inspiration.We do *NOT* do piercings."

I got a tattoo with Megan last August and couldn't have had a better experience! She worked later in order to fit around my tight schedule and had great pricing! During the appointment, she was extremely accommodating and made it my most enjoyable tattoo experience yet. My tattoo has healed perfectly and looks as good as it did when I first got it done! Really lovely tattoo parlor. Prices are very reasonable and they have a talented bunch off staff. I've been a repeat customer over the years. They have helped design tattoos from rough sketches as well as working on old tattoos that needed more work adding to them. Always really happy with the service.  Everything is very clean and professional. My tattoos aren't anything that impressive, but some of the things tattoos I've seen done there are pretty amazing.  Would recommend.

Was looking for somewhere for my first tattoo, checked loads of reviews etc, For someone that has a fobia of needles persay it took me a while to find somewhere i felt comfortable. Kay was recommended to me by a friend and I am so pleased she was. The whole process was brilliant, Kay communicated prior to the appointment. The Painted Lady is a great parlour, I love the decor, sort of made you feel at ease from the outset. Everyone in there is so friendly, they know what they are talking about and the banter they have is great.  I had a small fine line piece and I love it, The tattoo is EXACTLY the same as my artwork i gave Kay. I now know I will be having more and definitely wouldn't be going anywhere else.

Meg Smith-Evans is the best, I’ve been getting my tattoos done by her ever since my first one and I’d never go to anyone else! Meg is lovely, highly professional & always gets my tattoos absolutely spot on - her work is amazing!!

Very good for Covid measures, had a one way system, face masks worn by everyone and hand sanitiser dotted around. The staff were lovely, especially Kasi who did my work pictured. They also had Zoolander on the telly, which was a welcome distraction from the pain! Thoroughly recommend and plan on returning for another tattoo!

Nicola is the best tattooist to work with. She listened to what I wanted, worked with me to design the best tattoo!   This is the second one she has done for me and I love them both. Such attention to detail and I know it's a totally unique one. Thank you so much.  9 months ago I had my tattoo and it still looks amazing, I would totally disagree with the comments someone had clearly left to be mean. The photo is from 9 months later.

A few of my friends have been here to get tattoos and I’m actually appalled by the state of them. The tattoos when they’re fresh look lovely, however compared to their other tattoos they fade incredibly fast. I’ve had 3 friends get multiple tattoos here, who now will never go back due to the amount they paid just for them to fade in a matter of weeks. The lines are not straight, faded and quite frankly for the price they’ve paid I would be absolutely raging. Overpriced and not the quality that is promised.

I got my first tattoo by Gary, my dad has been coming to him for years and loved his work so decided to get one done myself. I'm starting a japanese sleeve.  Gary is a laid back and professional guy. Great artwork, is honest with you and the shop is also very authentic. Lovely staff greeted me at the door and even offered a tea
