Went for a tattoo on very short notice as I was just visiting the city and they made It happen! And at a great price. Was my first tattoo and was in a painful spot but Mike Slax was very patient with me and got it done absoloutley perfect. Considering it was all line work  he did very good and I expected a higher price for the pain in the a@@ I was tbh . Thanks

Lovely staff in this Vivid Ink. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. I went to get pierced by Jodie. She was very professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. She was very thorough with placement and made sure she was matching my double nose piercing up perfectly. Highly recommended and will be going back for more from her.

Had an absolutely brilliant experience with Vivid Ink and my first coloured tattoo thanks to Charley earlier this week. Every aspect of interacting with the studio when visiting, emailing, and of course most of all, on the day itself was consistently friendly, professional and felt easy from beginning to end. Charley was lovely and being inked was a relaxed process throughout, with Charley explaining everything along the way, and obviously completing the artwork to such a high standard. I already felt like it'd been there my whole life and was looking to book my next one before I'd even left the studio if I'd had everything ready to go there and then!  I have been sharing the artwork and contact details with everyone since – I think my family and close friends might be looking for an escape from my enthusiasm now! I've waited a few days to post my review, and I don't feel any differently... So honestly, I cannot recommend Charley enough after my visit to the central Birmingham Vivid Ink studio; thank you all :   Requested style: All I was able to provide was a poor-quality little JPEG image, but Charley depicted it perfectly, and introduced artistry and detail that improved on the source I was able to offer in the first place. Also, I felt confident leaning into Charley's advice and instincts about size and position too, all of which proved to be 100% the right decision to trust her. I have some more ideas for future, but now I also want to look at involving more of Charley's creativity for some further pieces as well. I'll be back, obviously!   Cleanliness: I didn't even think to mention cleanliness till Google prompted – needless to say, everything was clean, comfortable, and the attention to hygiene was very much of the standard I think any of us would assume we'd find in a good, professional studio! Not a single doubt at any point whatsoever.   Stylist: Charley had been recommended by the studio when I went to ask about the design I had in mind because of her expertise and many years of experience with colour, and I'm so pleased to have taken their advice as it was so obviously a great choice. It's worth looking at some of her work where the studio has posted a small sample of her incredible colour and watercolour pieces over the years. It's been an additional inspiration for me and now I have even more ideas for the future!

Thank you to all the staff at Vivid Ink, for such an amazing tattooing experience. Sasha, my tattoo artist, was exceptional—skilled, professional and accommodating. Thank you again- I will be back and I highly recommend both the studio and Sasha for anyone looking to get a tattoo!  Cleanliness: I can tell that at Vivid Ink they really care about their customers from the way in which the place looks. Very tidy and aesthetically pleasing. Truly makes for a great experience.

I had the most wonderful time at Vivid Ink Birmingham. I went in rather terrified as it was my first tattoo at quite an age and I'd worked myself up into thinking I wouldn't be able to cope. Yoana the wonderful artist about to work on me picked up on this and put me at ease, being very reassuring. She put the print of the tattoo on me so I could walk around and be happy with its position. I'd been for a free consultation a couple of weeks before when the fab front of house person Laura I think looked at my initial thoughts, discussed them with me and showed me the work of Yoana, the artist they thought would be best for me. Once the work actually started I stopped all the worry as it was fine. Yoana checked on me a few times and then I was able to relax as it was all done very gently if that's a thing?. Once done, and the time flew by, I was given thorough aftercare instructions I was also worried about somehow wiping the whole thing off as soon as I got home and some balm. The next morning the tattoo was already looking even better and I am noticing details more clearly. I am really happy with the final result and already thinking about the next piece, hopefully at the same place with the same artist. Everything about Vivid Ink Birmingham is brilliant - highly recommended.
