Cosy little cafe, amazing atmosphere and a lovely manager! Amazing cakes and drinks, best hot chocolate I've ever had! Would highly recommend this friendly little cafe :)

I love this place. Refurbished and revamped as Carpe Diem. If you want good coffee or authentic Italian food and wine then this is the place to go. Recently had a superb charcuterie and wine as an early supper, can thoroughly recommend it. Frome is lucky to have this place. Don't be put off by the climb up Catherine Hill, the reward at the top is well worth it.

Small Italian run cafe, good personal service, nice coffee, top end of cobblestone street, with loads of interesting independant shops on the way
