Booked in here for the bottomless brunch last Saturday and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. My wife and I booked the ‘bubbles’ option but were told we could switch between sparkling, white or red wines pretty much at will. Indeed the waiter serving the ladies at the table beside ours recommended concentrating on drinking rather than eating! Unlimited starters came from a wide selection with something for everyone. After a couple of trips here, we moved on to the hot breakfast items, and I can recommend the eggs royale. Once you’ve filled up on starters you order your main which is to share. We were a bit confused as we thought there were a choice of three dishes, when in fact you get all of them! Desserts are again a buffet from a wide selection and everything we tried was delicious. If I have a criticism, it’s that I’d have liked some cream with some of the pastry based desserts. As others have pointed out, your glass doesn’t stay empty for long so make the most of your two-hour slot and enjoy the excellent service. We’ll certainly be going back.
Fantastic experience, unlimited eats outside of your main meal. You have a choice of brunch which is sans alcohol or bottomless brunch which is unlimited alcohol and boy they don’t let your glass get below half before they top it up again. A good choice of meat/vegetarian/vegan so everyone can enjoy. Staff are very hospitable and willing to help. Beautiful place. Even the live singer was great! He sang acoustic modern hits that weren’t jarring but sat nicely as background noise. Will definitely go again Vegetarian options: Very good options for vegetarian and vegan. Plus foods are labelled so you know what you are eating from the buffet Dietary restrictions: They’ll ask if you have any allergies or dietary requirements and all foods are labelled with ingredients Kid-friendliness: A couple of diners had young children at the brunch and seemed well tended to. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into the venue, easy to move around.
Absolutely love this place. Excellent bottomless brunch. Unlike so many others out there you get so much food at Oxbo. And if you manage to empty your glass before it's refilles then well done you! Would highly recommendFood: 5/5
Very pleasant atmosphere, great staff and hospitality. Also one of the best if not the best beers ive ever had which is their own brewery; same goes for gin.Service: 5/5
Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet here. They have something to please everyone. From hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes to all kinds of fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and pastries. The servers were lovely and the cappuccinos were very good. The decorations and interior are fantastic. Vegetarian options: Lots of pastries, bread, fruit and veggies
It's always a good time at Oxbo Bankside. Excellent service, friendly staff and managers, attentive, good-sized portion of food, good drinks selection, and the venue smell very nice. Relaxing atmosphere with nice musicFood: 5/5
This is a distillery bar that offers artisan drinks with 100 kinds of gin in collection. They have their gins and beers which are made specifically for them by the distillery which is not on site. I came here in mid afternoon looking for something to eat and ordered a grilled pork chop which was very tasty and tender. Tried a classic cocktail French 75 which was ok. Ambience is good with jazz music at the background.
We want for my birthday brunch at 3pm on Saturday : Everything was excellent only the live music was way too loud and we couldn't share a word with each other. He stopped in the first 40 min we were in, so we enjoyed conversating after that, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Food was dreamy and beautiful, you get a lot for the £38 brunch deal you pay so I would racomand to be very hungry to enjoy all of it! With bottomless is £50 and waiters keep refilling your glass, very kindd staff and lovely service! Thanks again for the lovely bday
We four friends got the bottomless Sunday roast brunch at Oxbo. We got there early 12:30 which was obviously the beginning of service so it was quiet expect for us. Soon enough the restaurant filled up and the atmosphere was amazing. There was a live singer/guitarist which was a fantastic accompaniment to lunch! He was really talented and sung lots of songs everyone will know and love. The starter table had a massive assortment of food and we barely scratched the surface, there was so much to try! It all tasted to fresh and delicious! The brunch was made to order at the kitchen window and again, was amazing. My friend and I had the eggs royale which was incredible. From the very beginning of the brunch we were given prosecco which was lovely. Our servers were so attentive and constantly topping us up to the point where we didn't actually know how much we'd had to drunk! The good thing was they provided enough food to make sure we weren't trolleyed and the prosecco station near the bottomless food was incredible! Elderflower syrup, raspberry puree and pineapple puree with a little bowl of strawberries and blackberries to top of the drinks. And not to worry if you accidentally add too much syrup because you'll get topped off soon enough and it'll taste great The roast was amazing! Two of us had the chicken, one the beef and one the gnocchi. The chicken was stunning, perfectly cooked with an amazing red wine jou. The beef was also perfectly cooked. The gnocchi was a bit lackluster so if your veggie/vegan you may find yourself disappointed. The sides with the roast were also amazing. There weren't many vegetables offered between us, but we didn't actually need them, given how much we'd had before the main! The desert table was similar to the starter table. So much choice it was crazy! And most of the options were bite sized so we got to try loads! Overall, we got the January sale which was £49 per head which ended up being £55.50 ish with VAT and service charge added in. We all said we would GLADLY return and hopefully soon!! I would recommend ANYONE who enjoys roasts, prosecco and having fun visit for a meal! Vegetarian options: Not a great veggie/vegan selection, definitely could be better
Don't walk, RUN. Their bottomless brunch was brilliant. Great drinks and yummy food. Beautiful surroundings. We had live music, and the whole restaurant sang and danced. It's such fun. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
