Fantastic shop and really friendly staff. Have been coming to Orvis for over a decade and the price may be higher than other places, but the quality also matches. They don't often have sales either, they don't need to. The products speak for themselves. I didn't buy anything today but the staff were really helpful and weren't pushy in the slightest with regards to getting a sale. Shout out to Sam who was great in giving me some advice with coats, will definitely be coming again soon.
A really nice shop in the heart of Bakewell with top class customer service. I'm just taking up fly fishing and they've given me a lot of help selecting equipment and clothing. It's much better to go to the experts to make sure you're spending money on the right things, rather than trying to save money on internet shops. The staff are welcoming and friendly and they are experts in local fishing. Highly recommended!
My favourite shop. Great people, great products for sale and even given a cuppa whilst having a chat to the fly tying expert.

Fabulous shop for Fly Fishing gear and clothing, friendly and very helpful staff, obviously you can probably get some items cheaper online, but it’s so important to support local and independent shops like Mallon & Green

One of our go to shops in Bakewell. High quality clothing for men & women, with an emphasis on the Outdooractive. Fly fishing equipment is very much part of the Orvis setup, which is catered for, in this two storey shop upstairs, along with the ladies clothing section..
Jayne and Marie were both incredibly helpful, knew their products offered honest and friendly advice and even did us some fantastic discount. Could not have had a better service. You get what you pay for 11/10!!
I bought some shirts from here today on my trip into Bakewell, absolutely amazing shop! Marie helped me find exactly what I was after and found the right size for me straight away! Blown away by the customer service, really friendly and incredibly helpful. Will deffinately be back again. Clothes are so good, and they have loads of stuff for the dogs too! Highly recommend hunting out this shop the next time you're in Bakewell.
