Been a few times, mostly for special occasions and it never disappoints. The food is always 10/10 and the staff is super friendly. The pizzas are the best in Glasgow with no hesitation but is everything, pastas and entrees as well. Will be back. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian starters to choose from. Pizza options unlimited really as you can build your own and the most interesting one of the menu is vegetarian by default
Seated at short notice in peak time, Gorgeous decor, cosy seating next to bar. Service was attentive and relaxed, Tasty cocktails. **Food: Very Hit/Miss** Starters were delicious and good portions The doughnutsstood out However, My main - Tagliatelle was far too salty, couldn’t eat a single bite, sent back. Partner’s main was edible though, salt dampened down by a nice pizza dough. The brownie with cherries was not quite right, the cherries might have been better off soaked in rum. Overall a fair impromptu dinner experience.
Ordered the meatballs for starters and the fish for main. Portions were very generous especially the chips that came with the fish. Was not expecting a big plate so we took the rest home! Staff were friendly and prompt service. Will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Great atmosphere and food and genuinely friendly but inefficient service, maybe too many people servicing the same table, but we had to order a drink 3 separate times and it was wrong when it arrived, more than a little frustrating But the food was superb and we will be backFood: 5/5
Fantastic service, even better food! We tool our little one and he was in love with the 'fish tank'. Team were amazing and honestly a beautiful place. Never had such an amazing meal! Pasta was outstanding, pizza was amazinf and the calzone ...mouth watering! and oh my the doughnuts ....worth it as a sharer!
If you’re looking for the best pasta in Glasgow, Oro is the place to be! We tried the rosemary focaccia, mushroom tagliatelle, & penne arrabbiata, & it was all AMAZING. Everything was fresh and so flavourful. The service was also 10/10. Staff were all so friendly & attentive, which made the experience even better. Our server whose name I forgot to catch was the loveliest lady ever and looked after us so well .Highly recommend.
Amazing experience food was really good unfortunately not halal so we had only vegetarian dishes however not disappointed at all pure Italian highly recommend mushroom pasta never tasted anything better before!Food: 5/5
Always amazing! Been a good few times and everything I’ve tried has always been high quality. Most recently after some lovely starters and mains we got the cannoli tree where you get given the empty cannoli pastry and fill it yourself which was fun! And of course really tasty. Something a bit different and between a few of us it was a perfect dessert as it wasn’t too much.
My favourite Italian restaurant in Glasgow. Friendly family run business that we've never had a bad meal at. Moreish delicious food, attentive staff, and a nice atmosphere.Food: 5/5
