Lovely staff but you might as well shop on line as stock appears low at the moment!
Our dishwasher had broken and was only just within its warranty. The service team sent an engineer. It wasn't easy to repair, or even get the dishwasher out, but the engineer went out of his way to ensure the repair was done properly. They took it back to the workshop in the end and returned it a couple of days later and reinstalled it. Working perfectly. Top work.
Optimum engineers have been sent by our appliance insurers Domestic & General to repair our hob and oven several times over the last year, and we were always pleased by their efficiency and customer service. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to leave an online review though if I hadn't had a really awful experience with another company which Domestic & General sent to repair our oven last moth. Basically that company failed to do the job, we were without the oven for over 5 weeks and I spent half a day last week on the phone to Domestic & General insisting that they book us in with the engineers they sent to us in the past Optimum. Eventually, the appointment was booked, their engineer came today, super-helpful and nice guy, fixed the oven in 10 minutes! I'd definitely recommend Optimum to others, both in terms of the quality of engineers we have dealt with and also very pleasant and helpful telephone customer service.
Have used this Optimum service a couple of times over the years for my very old SMEG oven. Both have been good experiences. Staff on the phone when booking really helpful and clarify costs. Everything emailed, engineers turn up on time, are pleasant, do a good job and leave no mess.
I was given this company's details by AEG as the local recognised service engineers for our washer drier that is still under warranty. Having seen the other review of this company I was a little hesitant using them but as it happens they couldn't have been better. Phoned them on Tuesday morning and they arrived Wednesday morning at 8.30am on the dot. Friendly and knowledgeable engineer who gave me some good advice on using the machine. Maybe we were lucky but I felt compelled to write a review as my experience was so good.
I've had amazing service from this company on a number of occasions.. Wendy in customer service is so helpful and friendly and has gone above and beyond for me. The engineers that have attended have been very friendly and extremely knowlegable and have done everything possible to make things right at the time of the visit. The young man that attended today really did go out of his way to help me. I would thoroughly recommend Optimum Service as a genuine and relaible company. From a very grateful customer in Eastbourne, East Sussex!!
Very helpful and got us out of a hole with a new washing machine and were able to deliver very quickly. Will definitely shop there again
We love Optimum. Here's an example of why: our built in dishwasher died after many years of service so we headed down to Optimum. Their sales team recommended the CHEAPEST product Blomberg with the longest warranty 5 years. We have other good experience of Blomberg so were happy with the choice and ordered one with the fitting / removal service. Shortly after they arrived to fit it, but standards have changed and the Blomberg doesn't quite fit due to a number of pipes running along the wall. No problem, the fabulous fitters take back the Blomberg sad! and we head back in to talk about dishwashers with a larger 'cut out'. We order one, a Neff this time apparently Neff, Bosch & Siemens all have large cutouts! and they come to fit again. Surprise, this time the fitter is none other than the marvelous Ben, co-owner and handsome poster boy. "I heard you had problems last time so I've come myself" says he. Well, of course the fitting doesn't go simply - very tight fit, other pipes in the way, non-standard door sizes and a requirement to cut a notch in the kick board. Ben does all this takes about 90 mins, cheerfully tells me that all is sorted, clears up and goes away with an extremely happy customer. There's no extra charge for any of this, despite all the problems being the fault of my kitchen design. Just marvelous.
We recently bought a dishwasher from Optimum sales. The price compared very favourable with others sellers, delivery was fast and the guys who installed it took utmost care to ensure that the fit was exactly right.
Called them out as our fridge/freezer was not keeping at the correct temperature. They replaced the compressor motor but the problem persisted so called them out again but were unable to find the fault. Had to buy new fridge/freezer so wasted money on the 'repair' and call-out fee.
