Absolutely fantastic service, almost too good to be true. Fast and efficient, good range of budget and designer frames, well worth the money. My daughter felt very well looked after and even received her glasses within 30 minutes! I can not thank you enough.
Very happy to say these guys are my new opticians after finding on line. Yorgo is very patient, experienced and quickly solved the lens problems I was having elsewhere. They also have the latest equipment so my test felt much more thorough than normal. This is the place to come, especially if your case is more complex than normal.
TLDR: Same day service, absolute professionalism, super highly recommended!!! I needed new glasses ASAP, but I didn't have my old prescription. I've booked an appointment online for next day, communication was nice, clear and fast. Entering the store, a clear, professional environment welcomed me. Yorgo is a nice, kind and calm, clearly professional man, who is working precisely. The equipment is absolutely high-tech inside. If you did your previous prescriptions in Vision express or Specsavers, or any other high street "brand" optician, forget it. The eye test itself is already an experience, well worth the price. I have to say, it's surely much more accurate as well! He went through on the photos of my eyeballs with me, explaining every detail. Finishing the eye test, Yorgo helped me choosing a frame too. They have designer brands, but he is NOT pushing the most expensive one, but really advises on what would look perfect on you. After choosing the frame, taking measurements of the head and paying, he advised, that it will be ready in an hour, and as promised, it was. It looks perfect, fits perfectly, and it is a top tier work. They have a nice range of both designer and non-designer frames, and they also offer special lenses, like photochromic and anti glare! They were running an offer, so I even got a second pair of glasses absolutely free. Thank you very much!!
Fantastic Service. Arranged an appointment on a Saturday evening at 11pm via the whatsapp number and got an emergency appointment for the next morning Sunday at 7am. After a full eye examination, by 8am, I walked out with two pairs of new glasses. This is just not possible anywhere else. Truly professional, kind, considerate and so efficient.
Amazing place. Can’t believe they have been there for so long and I haven’t come across them! I was desperate for a pair of glasses the same day but hadn’t had an eye test since before COVID. I tried Specsavers etc and they couldn’t even do the test for several days let alone anything else. Called these guys just before lunch. I had to reschedule for a bit later due to my own disorganisation which were very kind about. At the adjusted appointed time I pitched up, very courteously got told there would be a few minutes delay while the equipment was properly sanitised - ALWAYS nice to hear! had my eye test then, a contact lens test for good measure and had a new pair of glasses 20 minutes later… and at normal prices. I don’t write these things often. Just really blown away by the service. Oh - also It was “buy one get one free” in addition to all of the above so for my second pair I opted for a rather snazzy pair of electric blue prescription sunglasses. I almost burst out laughing when they were apologetically explaining that these couldn’t be done that afternoon because it was almost their closing time. It was by now late afternoon on a Saturday, and I could see again! By Monday lunchtime I could see with a rather nice blue tint having collected my second pair! What more can I say? Should’ve gone to these guys! :
TEN STARS. I have a severe prescription - minus 9 - and I was mugged and lost my glasses. I was terrified it would take two weeks - the standard amount of time it takes to get lenses of this strength made - for me to get new glasses. I would have had constant headaches and have to take two weeks off of work. But I found Yorgo. I thought it was too good to be true! At first I really thought, NO WAY they can make high quality, fast lenses like this!! But it was ABSOLUTELY EVEN BETTER than I imagined. I messaged Yorgo using the website chat function at 5am, went back to sleep, and had a message from him when I woke up. He invited me to come in that day. I went to the shop, had an amazingly thorough and professional exam, Yorgo very patiently helped me select some glasses I got Gucci and Ray Bans - they have a full range of really lovely frames! and waited for me to agonise over the decision, and then once I decided I went next door for a coffee. I returned to the shop in one hour and my glasses were ready. they were perfect. I thought they might be a bit wonky because they were done so fast but they're extraordinarily high quality. This was without question the best and most lifesaving experience of buying glasses I have ever had. I have already messaged tons of people who live in the UK about going to Yorgo for their glasses needs. He even does at home visits for people who can't leave their homes. It's truly amazing. He is a real life saver and I hope his shop is patronised abundantly in return for his commitment to quality, affordable care.
What can I say , lost my glasses early this morning found this shop online and I had 2 amazingly priced pairs of glasses by 3 pm same day . Fantastic service , great selection of all prices and a 1 hour turnaround . Great shop , great selection , great service . Highly recommended
Professional, speedy service. Loss my old glasses when I capsized my kayak in the river and needed another pair asap. Was well looked after and after having an eye test at 10pm the same evening, 2 new pairs of glasses were ready in just 20mins. Prescription is bang on and the glasses themselves are excellent quality. Not expensive either. Couldn’t ask for more. Will use again. Highly recommend.
I had to review. The service was amazing. I managed to get same day prescription sunglasses as I was going on holiday the next day and had an eye infection! These guys are seriously the best! Thank you so much!
Wow I must admit the service was great and I got my new pair of glasses within 20min after eye test did me a good deal on my raybans, absolutely professional and friendly, price is really good
