Surpassed our expectations  So it was a special occasion and Opheem was selected. We chose the 10 course tasting menu for the lunch as we would need to travel in and out of the Birmingham.  The food was exceptional with each course having unique tastes and flavours and each of the family members having a different favourite! Not being a food critic, all I would want to say is that the food was tastefully delivered and each course expertly described by chefs. I had my doubts about whether I would be able to eat the 10 courses but did clean all the plates. Needless to say that the tea and the evening meals were given a miss! Very unusual for me.  Alice who was looking after us on the day and the team for each of the courses was excellent. Stefan deserves a special mention for the service provided, above and beyond any I have experienced anywhere - Thank you.  As I am a Wheelchair user, I can confirm that Opheem is wheelchair accessible and has the appropriate disabled facilities.

10 course tasting menu at Opheem. I normally go to Simpsons for my birthday and I wanted a change. The food was nice, portion sizes were good. I asked them to write happy birthday on my plate and my request was ignored.  I really enjoyed the dessert and the sweets at the end. Only tasting menu that has made me full. Overall, a great experience.

Creative tasting menu, exquisitely presented and the taste was phenomenal. Such attention to detail. I loved the fact that the chefs that were busy cooking and preparing our meals came out and presented our meal to us and explained the dish. There is nothing I can fault with meal or the surroundings.

Overall great experience, attentive service and phenomenal food and taste display… negative points? we were sat for way too long in the waiting area before dinner having drinks add that to the bill… food was amazingly delicious, couldn’t choose a favorite dish but the least definitely were the ribs and then again right after dinner we were rushed to go back to the waiting area and of course coffee and tea that were not included in the menu. A part from this little bit that I didn’t enjoy, I did like the experience and would recommend the place

We celebrated a nice occasion there yesterday night and Opheem offered us a truly unforgettable experience. They serve a great number of courses they were supposed to be 10, but there were much more and I lost count, all with subtle -and in some cases more prominent- reminders of the Indian cuisine. They process their raw materials with such a delicate mastery and the result is unique and stunning. All the aromas, textures and flavours created a feast for our senses and their wine list was so long and assorted, it would take years to discover. All staff members were super helpful by explaining and presenting their courses. Toby stole our hearts at the end of our night by giving us great tips to discover Birmingham, since we've just moved here. Overall we thank you for a magical night

A truly excellent meal, combining exciting and unexpected flavours with real skill and balance. The Indian influences shine through and the staff are attentive, efficient and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a special occasion, well worth the money.

Having friends over from Australia we decided to take them to Opheem. We wanted to celebrate their visit by spending some quality time with them. We were so happy with our choice. Everything was perfect, the ambience, service and food were all outstanding. You can see the thought and effort that has gone into making a perfect evening. A big thank you to Aktar and all of his team in creating an evening to remember.

Oh my word!! There really are no words for the  mind blowingly amazing culinary journey I have just been on at Opheem.  The food is perfection on a plate - or plates in our case as we had a 10 course taster menu. From the beautiful reception and considerate waiting service to the stunningly presented masterpieces that just kept coming. A beautiful experience to be remembered

We had been planning to go here for a long time. My other half surprised me with a birthday treat and we weren't disappointed. We've been lucky enough to eat in a few Michelin starred restaurants and this was the best of them all.  Every bite is an absolute delight. We had the 10 course tasting menu and it was incredible. The staff were friendly and engaging. The maitre d' and the sommelier were both truly unforgettable for their warmth and knowledge. Everyone here has pride in what they do and in what Opheem is, which is a true one of a kind experience.  The food will blow you away. Those clever nods to the type of Indian meal we've all had catch you by surprise. Then you try something different, and it just grabs your attention. Beg, steal, or borrow, just get yourself a table. You won't regret it.

Stunning restaurant. Highly recommended for a unique fine dining experience. Amazing colours and flavours. The taster menu is one of my absolute favourites... 5*****
