On my recent two visits to One Small Step. With my grandchildren. Nichola who owns this Lovely Shop was great with fitting all 4 children. Great choice of shoes. All grandchildren age 2yrs to 9yrs .

This was the most informed and informative children's shoe store that I have ever been to. Our son has always complained about his shoes, and the owner was able to explain why and suggest the best types of shoes. Our son has worn the shoes we bought continuously and without a single complaint. If your child complains that their shoes feel funny, go to One Small Step, you won't regret it!

I feel very lucky to have this shop in Buxton, run by someone who cares so much about her customers and the children! A great range of shoes (even some for adults) and exceptional customer service. Nichola is always there to help and sometimes just to chat!

I love to support independent shops when I can and I was thrilled when I found that One Small Step had the school shoes that my children wear and were selling them at the same price as some of the biggest retailers in the country! Nichola posted them to me the next day and I will definitely return when I need some more shoes for my boys. Thank you for the amazing service.
