*A short version for a quick read would be that there was very little option of dresses, the options they had where nothing special and the service was very rude and impersonal. There was no help trying on dresses, and not having the dresses pinned inplace properly to get a good feel of the dress. They also did not like that I had found a dress in another shop I like, and was still exploring options* My experience at Olivia Rose was a real disappointment. From the start it wasnt the best reception and it only got worse. Initially when we walked in it took some time for anyone to address us, we waited patiently and then walk round to get someone. I was given some tags and told to pick some dresses I liked, I was not offered any advice or guidance. The range of dresses was very poor. I wasn't made to feel very comfortable from the start, but we continued to make the most of the appointment as it was part of the days wedding dress shopping plan. As the shop is very small, I phoned prior to ask if we could have a private appointment which was agreed. This was as if two brides where having appointments at the same time you would be right next to them with your friends and family together with theirs. I was told to go into the changing room and get myself into the wedding dresses on my own. From my other two appointments I had someone helping me dress as some are not easy to get into. I was not even offered help. She then secured the dress slightly with pins, but not so it fit enough to see how it really looked, she said this was because she didn't want to pin into the dress. It made it very hard to know how the dress fitted my figure. As I was made to feel uncomfortable, unsupported and quite frankly as if she had no interest in me it made the experience less enjoyable. My guests where not made to feel welcome or offered a drink. After having tried on two dresses, which I was comparing to a dress I had found in another shop I liked (as when trying to find 'the one' you have to try more dresses on to confirm you have infact found 'the one') the lady in the shop said to me very rudly 'is there any point in trying any more dresses on'. This imidiatly made me feel a nusance and so I decided if that was her attitude I would leave. We told her we felt she was rude and she responded that I was 'disingaging' with the dresses. I explained the whole experience was unpleasant and I was made to feel uncomfortable. She didn't want to know my opinion and we decided to leave. After this experience I felt put of going to my next appointment, but chose not to let it get me down and did infact have a wonderful experience in the next shop. From my overall experience wedding dress shopping, Olivia Rose was extremely poor and I can say this basing it on my lovely experiences at all my other appointments. I would hope Olivia Rose consider how they made this experience so poor, and how they could improve their service to avoid other brides having this happen.

I had such a lovely time picking my wedding dress at olivia rose donna has so much patience and knowledge I knew from the moment I walked in that I would purchase my dress from here I didn't feel pressured like I did in other shops and just felt so comfortable and relaxed from the moment I ordered and for when the dresses came in thankyou so much for all your help x
