Some staff are quiet polite. I wonder if they are just trying to because they are aware of how disgracefully rude some of their colleagues are. They should not be working in public services. Even some 'polite staff' don't seem genuine. Staff are even more disrespectful on the phone.
I received wrong advise continuously from receptionists and they refused to make an appointment saying they don't deal with that, only online. Months later found out it isn't a case. Other times ,when in need of PC support on my lambeth account, staff never at work and I have been asked to come back another day many..many..many times, but staff still not at work those days to offer help with that. I could do their job easily without qualifications, as they always say nearly the same to everyone and I could do it brilliantly with some training. Sadly there are many careless rude staff at the frontline, but once you are directed to the right person a chance 1:billion they are doing their job.
Lambeth Clive centre very busy. Help desk point when you enter and someone will point you in the right direction they were very helpful. I needed children services the lady at the desk did not look up once and a gentleman was standing not one of them asked if they could help me. After standing there for 5mins I asked if I was in the right place the lady said do you have an appointment I said yes, sign over they. When you have staff at a help desk you are met to help not just ignore people. Maybe the staff need training on customers service. The toilet also needed cleaning.
Absolutely shocking place. Rudest staff I've ever encountered. I was there due to the incompetence of the phone staff who were unable to figure out why the system was charging me the wrong amounts. Despite taking time off work to go and sort something out that was their fault, I was treated as if I was some sort of low class individual. Lambeth Council not everyone who lives in your borough is uneducated and poor.
The staff are rude, the men dress like gangsters, the women attention seekers. They have no interest in helping anyone. Authority has clearly gone to their heads.They were staff sitting at their desk doing absolutely nothing, while people were waiting to be called, and when you were called the staff were dismissive, as in my case, no empathy at all. If their productivity were being monitored it would be zero. From the security guards to the staff members, all a bunch of incompetents. If I treated the public in my job as they treated me, I would be disciplined, at worse sacked.
Read all the other terrible reviews and was obviously reticent about coming here. Was looked after by a lady called Jane who completely confounded all these negative reviews. She was friendly, receptive, dressed smart and seemed hard-working as well as knowing her job back to front. Well done Jane - an ambassador for Lambeth Council if ever there was one.
I don't know what really the staff think about the people try get some service prom there! but it's not the way to treat! The world it's to hard to live so we need to respect and looking for another with more love, working with love the world will be better! I'm not heppy with they job but I belive they can do better!
Today i came to the office and a man sitting at the reception, was behaving extremely rude , he was asian trying to act british .He was asking me to say please and thank you as if i was from nursery. I think there is a saying give respect take respect. He was giving me attitude and told me that it was not his problem . I am so disgusted by this service that i would not even give them a star .
High level of incompetence. Staff is not there to help. They simply laugh at people. Lambeth council is a good proof that social care does not already exist.
I don't know wether it's the pay or what but misery is what comes to my mind when thinking of this place inept rude to the point of shouting at a lady who simply asked about the stupid ticket system if your there with money to pay in ur rushed threw disgraceful much like monkeys in a zoo just playing at work . There are some gems working there but very few and far between I couldnt Imagine any government building been run any differently .I'm sure they miss the glass partitions that says it all I never in my life seen so many power hungry people behind those windows very sad to see sheep baa
