Wasn’t clear that they take debit cards, but they do. Might be worth putting an acceptance logo in the window. Otherwise the fish and chips are fantastic, generous and well packaged. It disappointing when they go soggy, but these chips were fantastically crisp when I got home and everything piping hot. Would certainly go again. Thanks

Staff very stressed when visiting this evening due to being understaffed and owners refusing to employ more staff. I witnessed multiple mistakes being made with orders and waited 15 minutes to be served for 1 large portion of chips. Owners need to employ more staff otherwise customers will go elsewhere.

Fantastic fish and chip shop. Has a decent selection of fried food available. Decent prices as well.

Excellent fish and chips especially when you buy something cooked to order such as the haddock. Staff are friendly and the fish is always great.

I’m sad to Say that the food I purchased from Oldfield Fish and Chips was not pleasant. The batter on the cod was Extremly soggy and wet. My drive home is no more than 5 minutes so it was not wrapped for very long. The chips were OK. I am a chef and know how easy it is to make cod batter. I won’t just say bad - The two girls who served me were very friendly. And my girlfriend loved the saveloy.
