Had an afternoon tea with a group of friends today at the restaurant. The drinks were lovely and the sandwiches and bakeries were freshly made. Visited the garden shop as well as the gift shops. We all had a wonderful time. Would recommend.
Busy place at this time of year. Quaint shops with antiques and memorabilia. Clothes cards and gift ideas. Nice Christmas market with loads of decorations. Santas grotto for the kids. Well worth a look.
What a lovely place! We took our son to see Santa and he had a great time, it was really magical for him. We had a quick look at the shops but we had to leave as I was feeling unwell. I have to thank the lovely staff and Santa's Elves for helping me when I was feeling a bit poorly, they were just fantastic. I will be coming back to have a good look around and I'm definitely bringing back my son to see Santa's next year.
Great value for money. Unlike other visits to Santa this one is a mini show involving elves a polar bear and Mrs Claus. Santa appearing from the chimney is a masterpiece. Everyone works very hard to make a special occasion for the children which they all seemed to find was magical. Our grandson also loved his gift no batteries required.
First time here and well worth the visit, we had a nice walk around and the Christmas shop had some lovely bits, even better it was all half price. It's like Aladins cave with such a collection of bits and bobs, from old costume jewellery to clothing and even a nice collection of vinyl records, after our walk abouts we went and had a coffee and small breakfast which was very nice although I thought it was quite pricy to be honest, but enjoyed. On this particular day it was freezing so I'd recommend if its cold when you go then wrap up as it seems colder in than out, and bless the staff for working in such cold conditions as there was no heating. All in all had a really nice time, look forward to seeing you soon
Some lovely shops. Cafe serves lovely cakes but can get busy very quickly. So, do not forget to reserve a seat. The holes in the road leading to the car park are treacherous though. It definitly makes it an adventure!
Very good, was busy as had Xmas craft fair on to when we went. Took my elderly mother in a wheelchair easy to get around all areas. Had lunch in the cafe there one of the cafe staff was so helpful finding a table for us, unfortunately didn't get her name, but much appriciated. Thankyou
A charming find and a labyrinth of stores and stalls to buy bric a brac, antique bits, second hand and new clothes. You could spend a whole day there if you wanted! The craft fare in its grounds was lovely too and so wonderfully set up.
Lovely place to visit, has some unique shops and boutiques selling various items. On this particular vist we visited Santa's grotto, had fun time seeing Mrs Clause and Santa, and not forgetting the Elves and opportunity to take photo at the end with Santa and receive a gift.
Im giving 5 stars as its a Beautiful place to go and visit lovely little shops. But the food at the cafe was very disappointing ordered a Jacket potato and it was cold and been sitting around for a while i think, also not brillant if your Vegan every thing they had that was vegan had vegan cheese but they had ran out.
