Very clean, comfortable hotel. Very pleasant, friendly staff with great customer service.skills. We had a complimentary upgrade to an available suite at no extra cost. Excellent value for money to include a full breakfast. Good food and facilities. Would certainly recommend and will return if in this lovely area again Thankyou

I stayed here the night before my Grandma's funeral. When I went to get in the shower in the morning it was lukewarm at best, but I was told there was nothing they could do about that, when I spoke to the girl at reception she simply said "Well no one else has complained" Well that's because no body else was staying in my room!!! They did offer me another room however by the time the handy man had been and I had been to reception to try and sort it out there was no longer time for me to move rooms and still get to the funeral on time. Before I left I asked to speak to the manager but was told she wasn't in, I left my number and was told she would call me later, she did not ring me back. I rang everyday for 3 days after (at the times I was told the manager would be there) but I was told she wasn't in, this was quite clearly a lie and the manager was too cowardly to come to the phone to deal with a customer complaint, surely she is part of the job description for a managers role??! (I also sent an email, which was ignored) On a couple of occasions when I tried to ring the reception, the phone was put down on me mid-sentence, then when I tried to ring back they let the phone ring and ring until it cut off, the professionalism of this whole situation was unbelievably appalling. The walls were paper thin so I could hear someone in the next door room having a wee at 6am. The windows were thin and drafty so I could hear the busy road around the front of the building. The food was overpriced and bland.

Lovely meal ... good choices off the special mothers day menu... choice of 4 starters 4 mains and 4 desserts ...was busy but the service wasn't slow and the standard of the food was good ...will return thank you

Warm friendly atmosphere, rooms are nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable you get a good night's sleep. No complaints about the quality or choice of food
