If you are looking for a Farm Cottage Holiday then visit Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays.
Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays in Pendle and the Forest of Bowland offer a superb four star accommodation with uninterrupted panoramic views and a warm welcome.

Without compromising quality or your enjoyment, Malkin Tower Farm offers outstanding environmentally friendly holiday accommodation. This has been recognised in the many awards we have received.

There are lots of things to see in Pendle and things to do in Pendle and the Forest of Bowland. We are superbly situated for the Yorkshire Dales and the Ribble Valley. We are just an hour from the Lake District, Lytham St Annes, and Blackpool and only 20 minutes from Haworth, made famous by the Bronte sisters. This makes us the perfect location for walking holidays in England.

Nearer home we have the villages of Roughlee, Newchurch and Barley where the famous Pendle Witches lived and it is said that here at Malkin Tower, Old Mother Demdyke and her daughter Elizabeth Device lived with her children.

At Malkin Tower we pride ourselves on being a child and toddler friendly holiday cottage. So if you are looking for a Farm Cottage Holiday for the whole family then Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays are for you.

This is our third visit to Malkin Tower Farm, we have stayed in both Demdyke (twice) and Device (once) cottages. We can thoroughly recommend either cottage. However, the recent renovation to Demdyke has made it very cosy and our particular favourite. Lots to see and do in the area (hence this is our third and definitely not last visit), especially, if like us you have a dog that loves a good walk, Pendle hill is good exercise and has excellent views, weather permitting. The field behind the cottages is a good size and secure for exercising your dog(s) when sheep are not resident, check out the dead hawthorn tree surrounded by stones (like a shrine) in the middle of the field (very eerie, this was the home of the Pendle witches after all). Be aware that the road to the cottages is a sump splitter if you have a sports car or one with lowered suspension, it can be navigated with care in an ordinary car and no problem for a 4x4. However, I was told by the owner Rachel (who is very helpful and attentive), that the road will be resurfaced a some point this year. We are here again (May 2016), the road has been resurfaced and is smooth enough for a go-cart now, plus we have extended our walks into Haworth and Bronte country just a 30 minute drive over the boarder in Yorkshire.
