Stopped off at The Curious Cow to have a bite to eat with my fellow colleagues after a busy day at work. All staff were very polite and helpful. Food didn't take long to arrive and was very tasty. Drinks were good also. All in all it was a lovely experience
Amazing service, great food, dog friendly. The staff went above and beyond. The food portions were large and very well executed. We had starters, main and dessert but maybe shouldn't have added the sides. NZ white wine was £13 a glass so be aware it may not be cheap! Would recommend still
Staff were attentive. We had a good Sunday lunch and starter here, and it came quickly but seemed good quality too. The place felt quite homely but also can get busy at times. Food prices all seemed fair. Would go again
Amazing steak. The roasts looked good too with big crispy Yorkshire puddings. Service also great. Friendly staff, welcoming of our small messy children. Nice outdoor area which will be great in summer. Will definitely return.
Well located to drop in on our way both into and out of Harrogate for a convention - both times a nice atmosphere and friendly & attentive staff despite being quiet! The menu was new and everything we tried was delicious, having both the lunch sandwiches menu, and evening. Very much recommend the vegan bruscetta, couldn't believe that wasn't real cheese! Will be back
We had a nice meal here with friends. While definitely more of a restaurant than a pub, it’s quite quiet and cosy. We arrived a bit late but they kept the kitchen open for us. Nice touch. The food came quickly. They have a rotisserie for chickens and I had the chicken tikka masala which was really tasty and tender. My wife had half a chicken which was dry unfortunately. I’d go back though as it’s a kid friendly, family gastro pub and worth a visit.
A fantastic meal with very efficient service. The venue has been renovated and decorated very nicely and the menu had a great selection of meals.
Today my server was Gareth who was super friendly and happy. He was polite, informative and accommodating. Advising on food and drink after I asked for a recommendation. This place is lovely, fresh, clean and modern. The food is very tasty and I was a seated and served very quickly. Will be back again.
We were very impressed. The service was second to none, right from the welcome everyone greeted us as we passed to the close attention to our orders. The food was superb. I cannot remember a better lunch experience, and I will certainly be back.
We had Sunday lunch yesterday. My wife, son and my mother. Two pork dishes, one roast beef and one vegetarian Camembert / mushroom Wellington. All our meals were delicious and the plates were plentiful. Three puddings afterwards which again were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place itself is lovely. A really good experience all round. Thank you.
