We saw this place on our way to our holiday location so went back and had a meal there. The location was fabulous, quiet, picturesque and near a little stream and bridge. The staff were 1st class, helpful and quick to serve. The food was amazing and well worth the price. We ended up going back several times on our holiday. Highly recommended.
Sawmills was a great dinner stop, good service and great food, Mains and desserts, 2 sides and 2 rounds of drinks was £133, we were stuffed and satisfied, not the cheapest option out there but the food is locally sourced and made on site, not a chain and not shipped in food. The details are important for me, glasses were clean, beer lines looked after so a great pint, toilets and customer area spotless and staff excellent, great beer garden on the river and only a short walk to the water. It's not often you find a dog friendly pub of this quality
A lovely pub opposite the campsite we were on. Very welcoming staff who give excellent service. Ate there 3 nights on the row. Food was lovely and served hot and all together even though we were a group of 10. Will definitely visit again if we visit the area in the futureHotel highlightsGreat value
Popped in for a wine and snack and decided to book for Sunday lunch. Wow we weren't disappointed. I had the beautifully cooked beef and hubby the half chicken. It was all so tasty. Beautifully cooked fresh veg with the cheesey leeks omg. We took our leftovers home for the dogs and they wolfed it down. The only criticism was it could have been a tad hotter. Our server Frankie was excellent as we're the greeter on the door. Excellent.

Dog friendly pub/restaurant in a great location right next to a stream. The Sunday roasts here are huge. Food & drinks: Great food - amazing Sunday roasts. Good choice of beers and ciders.
