Very nice gammon, egg, pineapple, peas and chips served lovely and hot. On the lunchtime menu , 2 for £10, excellent value.
Visited for the pub quiz and had a meal prior to the quiz starting. I had the Cajun chicken on a bed of veg with house fries and a side of half a rack of ribs. My friend had the full rack of ribs with fries and garlic bread side. Both meals were fab. Very tasty and we didn't have to wait long at all. Fab service from the staff and a warm welcome from Natalie who was more than happy to discuss gluten free options with me. Brilliant atmosphere. Thanks all for a wonderful evening, shame I didn't win the quizz ;P better luck next time hopefully. Parking: Plenty of parking with well marked out parking bays Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant and after a discussion with staff there were many options available. Food is cooked fresh so things could be adjusted to suit too.
This year me and my family wanted a stress free Christmas day so we booked Christmas Dinner at The Manor. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff and seated at our table, the organisation was great. Our dinner 4 courses were absolutely great, we were so stuffed that a couple of us passed on the mince pies with coffee, but this was a wonderful touch. We weren't rushed to finish up either. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only had a few drinks this visit but booked for a meal tomorrow... The food is always great there. Update ....lovely food... Delicious.
Provided a lovely location and buffet for the wake after my late wife's funeral service. The staff were so friendly and respectful. The whole family had a lovely evening, even joining in with your pub quiz. My wife would have loved the send-off. Thank you on behalf of the Douglas family.
Amazing Staff and food! In particular a young girl called Mia! She served us both on the bar and waitressing through our evening and she was just AMAZING! Nothing was too much trouble and she constantly had a smile on her face! She made our evening 10x better and we couldn’t appreciate it more
Really disappointed, , I paid £180 for a buffet for a wake after a funeral , we was given a few sausages and bits and bobs , was no where near £180 worth of food , it was worth around £30 of frozen food on 4 little plates, this didn't include any drinks , not even water. Thought this was a very dishonest thing to do as we was promised a lot better and sadly didn't receive it. Felt like a complete scam . Follow up as you won't let me reply to your comment , You have lied on your reply you never once spoke to me at all , what you have just just written is very unprofessional and is full of lies
Just had our first delivery from here and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious, all freshly cooked and well presented even though it was delivered. Will highly recommend to others and will tell all my friends :Food: 5/5
We booked a table for a very early evening meal, when we arrived we found our table but there were no chairs, we believe this was due to a large party very close to our table taking all the chairs from the one allocated to us. Having an elderly person in our party this was not helpful. We went to the bar to try and get things sorted, a waitress passed us by but they did not look happy enough to be able to us, so we waited at the bar. Eventually someone came out who appeared to have been pulled off their brake but with at least 2 people in front of us and our elderly member unable to stand for much longer we decided to leave and go elsewhere for our meal.
This is the 3rd time I've placed an order for delivery from The Old Manor Inn. Every time the food has been hot and delicious. The cost of food is really reasonable for what you receive. I've been recommending this place to everyone locally!Food: 5/5
