I recently brought a car from here. I couldn’t be anymore happier. It’s the first time I have felt properly welcomed and felt comfortable when buying a car on my own. I was allowed to test drive the car without a problem which I was delighted with. I felt very welcomed and had excellent customer service when I was there. My car is amazing and would definitely recommend this garage to friends ans family. 5/5.
Would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone. They sold me an unreliable car that broke down, with a major gear box fault, within 24 hours of driving away. After multiple attempts to contact Aahron, one of the owners, I had to get the AA to take me back to the garage. They were given the opportunity to solve the problem with empty promises from Aahron of compensation for the huge inconvenience caused, it was returned to me still faulty and in worse condition. I did get a refund for the car, however after calmly asking for a refund receipt, the father of Aahron, Nicolay, became extremely aggressive. He kept saying that "we don't trust him". After my partner explained that all we wanted was proof that the transaction had gone through and my money had been given back, he started shouting at us to get off the premises and threatened to phone the police! We were completely bewildered by his extreme reaction to the situation. All in all, it was and awful and unnecessarily stressful experience to go through. Save your money and time and go to a main dealership with a good reputation to uphold!
We have had an excellent attention in Old Forge Car Sale, and the sellers, Ahron and Noroz, were very attentive with us, about the car and that everything was fine. We bought a Peugeot 207, MOT 12 months and warranty 3 months. Definitely, we recommend this Garage. Thank you very much.
Aharon and co were really helpful and great laugh. I didn’t buy in the end as they only had Citroen’s and Peugeot’s and Renault’s in stock at the time. Was really looking for a 1981 Austin Allegro in brown or beige or two toned brown/beige. Although the forecourt doesn’t cater for all tastes I cannot give it less than 5 stars.
Bought a car for my daughter was promised the car was checked and had no problems, but in one week the power steering failed, it had to have a new radiator, new break discs, a new air condenser, and 1 of the tyres was perished. This car was supposed to be fully serviced and it had a 12 month MOT. Please do not buy a car from here, if you do spend the extra money and have it independently checked. Really disappointed with the service.
I recently purchased a lovely little red Corsa 1.3 TDI for my sons first car, he is very proud of it & although we had to replace the battery, Aaron was more than happy to reimburse me for the cost of it. A great service & can’t fault this garage. Thank you to Aaron & his team.
Bought a car from here just over a year ago for over 3k. A few months in I went to the Vauxhall dealership for a handbrake modification all Corsas owners were offered one free and during their service they found I needed new engine breather hoses and the battery was faulty. They advised on 3 new tyres too, but I waited to spread the costs and eventually replaced at an independent garage. Next, paint started to peel revealing scratches that had been haphazardly covered up. A year on, the exhaust fell clean off! Now, the air con/heater system has completely given in. In less than 15 months, I've spent £600 fixing an apparently faultless car so it'd pass an MOT. I just have to hope it's not the compressor that's shot. I should've read these reviews first.
AVOID THIS SELLER. I had also dealt with Aaron. After making a 250 trip from Manchester to buy a large MPV which was wheelchair adapted it turned out parts had been removed from the van a SEAT!!, floor wheelchair belt straps and the spare wheel!!. All these parts were present in the original pictures of the vehicle which we had. Aaron tried to conceal this by updating the Website with new pictures before we arrived. To be fair he offered to put the parts back in however by this point I had my doubts and was suspicious about what else had been removed or what else he may not be disclosing about the vehicle. Anyway I decided to offer him a price ridiculously below his asking price because there was no way I was going to buy it for anywhere near the asking price Incase anything major cropped up later that needed repairing. Overall I’m glad I didn’t accept his initial offer to deliver the van gosh knows what else would have been missing. Bullet dodged indeed.
Bought a car from this dealer and within the weeek the engine warning light came on! It came with a service and new 12 month MOT certificate and we were assured it was a reliable motor........Took it to a local Garage for a diagnostic test only to find no OIL! Not impressed as assumed all these Basic checks would have been done....
Spent £3250 on a car that is dangerous and has been off the road for 1 of the 3 months that I've owned it. They refuse to refund me, and now won't answer my emails. Am being forced to claim via my credit card. If you want to avoid an expensive mistake, fraught with inconvenience and hassle, AVOID at all costs!
