The car park is decent if under 3 hours as centrally located near high street and the cathedral. However it can get quite busy and the prices skyrocket to the daily rate if there for 3+ hours.
WARNING: Car park charging here has changed. If you park for more than 3 hours, you'll be charged the daily rate of over £30. This is signed but can be easy to miss, as some friends of ours nearly did, getting out with minutes to spare!
Absolutely outrageous thing to witness that on 31/03/2023 around 5pm this VW golf driven by young bloke, scratches beautiful Red Audi, while trying to park head first into narrow space. Of course this driver fled straightaway to nearby car park with half of right side of bodywork covered in red paint. Shame!
The prices of this car park are disgraceful. If you stay any longer than 3 hours the price increases from £5.70 to £31.50. How on earth can they justify that price increase!! Luckily I was minutes away and didn’t have to pay the full wack, the lady in front of me wasn’t so fortunate!
I thought it best to park here as I brought my elderly parents to Truro for a nice day out, and it's close to the main shops. We spent a wonderful 4 hours together, slowly as my father is 85 having a wonder around. What a shock to be charged £31.50 for the privilege!!! Absolutely disgusting charges and County Council, you should be ashamed of yourselves! You won't have our custom again!! Very angry!
