First time here and staff were extremely rude. I explained that I’d misplaced my ticket which was my fault granted, and explained that I was really sorry, I’d paid for my ticket which was £1.50 and I was only in there for 20 minutes. I asked if they could check for my reg, and that I must’ve left the ticket in the machine - to which I got told multiple times that the machine does not ‘take’ the ticket and was made to feel like I was lying about paying. Got told that he should be charging me £18 for a lost ticket. Again, I appreciate this but the communication from the staff and how I was spoken to really took me by surprise. Never leave reviews but felt feedback was important here
One of the best car parks, location is very accessible right exactly in the City Centre behind big shopping stores. As well, lots of parking space as well reasonable price for parking hours!
Photos speak for themselves but considering this is a car park used by a very well known retailer M&S the health and safety standards sure don’t add up. I was also laughed out of the parking stewards office once when I lost my ticket - I was about to be late to collect my child from nursery and asked in good faith and showed them I had spent around 20mins doing a food shop. Again laughed at and told to pay the £18.nnAppallingly rude staff, pot holes galore - lower level has limited lighting and a good bit of duct tape keeping it together
Tried this carpark to avoid NCP charges, while it was cheaper and really close to the Quay, same issues with small parking spaces etc. Up and down in the lift to find the parking meter in M&S but worked it out eventually overall, better value and closer so will use again
You have to be early to get a space. There are some larger spaces available here as well
