We ordered the takoyaki octopus balls and the kaisen don with assorted seafood on a bed of sushi rice for dinner from Okayu Dublin. Coming from someone who doesn’t usually pick food with raw fish as my first choice, the kaisen don was sensational! The textures and the flavours of all bits of seafood were all spot on. My favourites would have been the octopus and the salmon. Crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside, the super savoury takoyaki was a winner too. We’d definitely order from Okayu again!
I ordered sushi to take away through the website and it was so unexpectedly good!!! Our order was ready really fast and it was very easy to pick it up. Good quality sushi and tasty flavors!! I recommend it 100%!
Great sushi! In my opinion excellent value for money. I usually order to bring home and it never disappoints.
Their food is excellent but the delivery is awful, from every 3 orders I do they cancel 2 because their driver don't like heavy traffic even though I'm in the 5km range
One of the best take away Japanese restaurant in Dublin! Always order from them on JustEat, never been disappointed! Cheap delivery, big portions, always fresh ingredients and super tasty sushi. The salmon they use is just amazing. Delivery time is unreal, they are incredible fast and price are very reasonable for such quality of the food.
Food was OK, but delivery by Deliveroo was 40 mins past estimated time. The delivery person arrived on foot ! and was quite rude. The one star is not a reflection of the food, but more of the delivery service.
Had simple and authentic Japanese food in Dublin finally. Tasty sushi roll and nigiri. The Agedashi tofu, it’s not silky as I expected but dashi stock is good. Will re-visit and try different dish definitely

Got takeaway sushi from here, california roll and tuna roll and it was the most disgusting sushi I've ever had. Fish was not fresh, neither was the crab meat, both stank horribly. Both me and my girlfriend found it inedible. Fed it to the local cats. Seems to have good reviews though maybe it isn't a regular thing, but the standard on this particular order was awful.
Ordered Unagi Kabayaki Don only to get a huge bowl of basically plain rice. Plain rice... and a few pieces of eel. the eel was nice but the proportion is ridiculous. paid 15,90 for a massive disappointment. Calling the restaurant did nothing either. very sad
