The staff are so rude!, would give zero stars if possible. Me and my family went here and ordered food and it was OK, it seemed a nice atmosphere apart from the staff who was very unfriendly. I asked for some napkins and they all looked like they didn't want to be there. Nobody came to clear the tables. While I was there my dog accidently knocked the bin over, a member of staff with black hair started to moan to a table with customers on about it, gave me a dirty look and walked off. I cleaned it up with bare hands as not one member of staff approached me and offered to help, even though I had a 1 year old and a dog in my hands.
Absolutely rude staff! My 5 year old daughter who is autistic needed a wee she could not hold it in we got to the cafe and I asked them could she please use the toilets for them to say no go to lark lane when she can’t hold it! For another customer to say she’s a child and for you to refuse entry is disgusting and shameful!
Stopped here for brunch and was happy with a simple bacon roll and a laté coffee. It was fairly busy but service was fine with the food and drink brought out to the table after ordering inside. Staff were pleasant.Food: 3/5
I go to this café all the time, it's my little sanctuary on rough days. The staff are lovely, if not a little overworked on busy days! The food is delicious and always really reasonably priced, especially when they could charge Lark Lane prices comfortably. Wheelchair accessibility: I see folks in wheelchairs here all the time as there is an accessible ramp!
This used to be such a nice cafe to visit. I visit regularly with a friend and I am finding the place uncomfortable to be in. I regularly see that some of the owners do not seem to care that their dogs climb on the seats and wander around the cafe even begging at other tables. The staff, on being informed, don't do anything about it. There needs to be rules about dogs on seats and being on leads which need to be enforced.
This is one of my favourite places for coffee, picturesque, nice coffee, food prices and friendly staff, what more could you ask for? The staff are great, I walk the park everyday, they call you by name, remember what you drink and even get the drink ready before you enter, when they can. Karolina is especially good at making you feel welcome and is the star at Oasis who preps my drink B4 I've even entered, amazing service on her part, thank you
Worth a visit to enjoy a nice hot coffee and pastries on a cold autumn day during an amazing stroll around Sefton Park. Recomend the lotus blondie as it's tastier than the oreo muffin. Prices are not so high. Staff friendly and eficient. The minus star is for the toilet as they are old and not so clean.Food: 4/5
Nice and relaxing place, must get some ice cream with kids every time come. Visted again today but the staff here is impolite to serve, he looks so annoying,not sure if it is because the shop was busy. Quite disappointed and unpleasant expereience.Food: 4/5
Woman with black hair was extremely rude even before I could order. I've been coming here since a kid and it's shocking to see people as sour as her are the face of this cafe. Im sad to say I will not be returning until I see a change in staff to a far nicer one who isn't offensive towards disabled people like myself. Please take action on this as discrimination against myself was not needed
Im absolutely appalled at the staff in this place. Refused to fill the water bottle up for the children and told us to go and fill it in the toilets. The bottle wouldn’t fit under the tap in the toilet but she didn’t care. The time we spent going back and fourth about she could have filled a paddling pool. She claimed to be the manager. If this is true they really need to consider that role as she was vile. No customer service whatsoever. It’s a pity this didn’t happen before I parted with £50! Safe to say it’s the last penny I’ll ever spend there. Wouldn’t mind, she looked like a melted welly.
