Oakfield B&B is a small and homely family run business. Friendly and tastelfully decorated by the owners Paul and Heidi Scourfield for tourism and business alike.

Story

Oakfield B&B is situated in the World Heritage Town of Blaenavon. Just on the doorstep of 'Big Pit' the National Mining Museum of Wales and the historic Ironworks. Other attractions include the Heritage Railway, Brecon Beacons National Park and national cycle route 492.
There is easy access to the M4 15 miles away. Towns nearby include Pontypool, Brynmawr, Cwmbran, Blaina, Abertillery and Abergavenny.

An excellent place to stay, a warm welcome, very clean bedrooms, excellent breakfast and a very pleasant house, an ideal location to visit the Big Pit or hike in the area. The family room is very comfortable. Thanks Paul and Heidi!

This couple are lovely. Their hospitality knows no end. They are gracious and could be tour guides - nothing is too much trouble for them. They overextended themselves in every way, and treated me like a long lost relative rather than a guest. I encourage you to "GO ON" and book with them - you won't be disappointed!
