Just received a full refund which they say takes 3-5 working days NO, try 3-5 weeks. Bought a sofa and riser recliner for my disabled husband. The chair broke after 2 weeks. 2 months after repair it broke again and the sofa gave way on one side absolutely disgusting. Now 2 pensioners one terminally ill - are sat on the floor. Would give 0 stars and dont for one minute think that your local store will give a dam. Bought through kirkcaldy store so rang them when no one was returning calls from customer services but they couldn't have been less interested to the point of quite aggressively letting me know they didn't care--- I suppose I shouldn't expect any less after all they got their commission cheque months ago BEWARE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS now it's over to trading standards and the ombudsman
Update on my previous post 21 days 3 phone calls which incidentally resulted in an average time of 35 minutes on hold. The people i have dealt with from oak furniture land i have found them to be lying so and sos. Told by 3 different people my refund would be processed in 3 to 5 working days lies then we were told 5 to 7 working days lies then to cap this. They then said there was an issue with my account lies lies lies. I strongly recomend you the customer not to patronize this company as the service has been very poor. My money came out of my bank on 16th nov. Refund on 8th jan. I will never use this shower of cowboys ever again. And every time im in kirkcaldy i will make a point of talking to people to share my terrible experience with these clows.
After my partner and I recently purchased a sofa from here, we were delighted to start with the customer service was amazing but after picking our sofa everything went downhill from there. After paying we said we were moving in 2nd week of Febuary but were told at the time we could chnage delivery date to an earlier time if we needed as long as we gave 3 days notice. We called a few days later as we were able to move in a good week earlier and we phoned them for them to say we wouldn't be able to change it which wasnt a big hassle wed just be without a couch for a week however, today was the day our couch was to be delivered however it didnt fit. The delivery driver said this was a massive issue that thie company faced with these exact sofas and dont make their customers aware of this. We spoke to a woman on the phone as this was the process and she demanded we either decided to take another couch from them without seeing any or cancel our order and receive a 25% fee. We argued this was unfair and wed be going to the kirkcaldy branch where we had purchased the sofa. Things got worse in there. The manager was an obvious idiot who admitted that his staff may not read out all key facts when the customers are agreeing to purchasing a couch, he suggested getting the couch re-delivered but have a joiner come and remove the window. I explained what the delivery drivers had said to the store manager to which he said "take everything they say with a pinch of salt you know what drivers can be like". The man blatantly refused to acknowledge the fact wed be left sitting on a floor and just asked us to call customer services as it was no longer his issue his store had done their part. I cannot stress enough do not buy a couch from this place it's full of under trained, lying and fraudulent salesman.
Purchased a few items from oak furniture in kirkcaldy in nov 07th sofa chair and footstool. agreed delivery date was in December 18th had a text from the main office to contact them for a delivery time and date dialed the number and was placed on hold for 40 minutes and then told a delivery time and date happy days, received a further text telling us we would receive delivery between 09 and 12 in the morning. van driver calls me to tell me he is extremely busy and the footstool is the only thing on the van the sofa and chairs still in swindon. called customer service on hold for 45 minutes and finally managed to speak to a person. i said i would like to cancel the order and receive a full refund she then came back and advised me i would be charged 25% for canceling the order. i said fine i will be parking my van outside of there shop warning people of the poor customer service experience, i was then placed on hold and she came back and said she would refund the full amount in to my account. result, therefore my advice to anyone buying furniture from this company dont expect a good experience and use a smaller company thay will truly appreciate your business because frankly oak furniture land dont
Lovely selection of furniture, they do bedroom and living room and I was amazed at the prices thought they would have been really expensive but very affordable and there sofas are delivered very quick as well it's worth looking in here before you shop anywhere else
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the pressure sale of the after sale service at high cost.
Good quality furniture but prices are bit high but you get what you pay for , or if you want cr@& there is always IKEA
Great value for money. Kitted out most of our furniture from here.
Like a walk through a furnished log cabin . Amazing!
Ideal for furniture. Could be expensive some time. Worth it if you can afford.
