We had a blast at the 02 centre today. It’s a great place to shop and eat. It is only a stones throw away from the Finchley Road underground station. There aren’t too many stores here but there is a The Little Gym and Vue Cinema here. They don’t have a wealth of options for eating out either, only Nando’s and a coffee shop. They have two ping pong tables on the ground floor now. It livens up the atmosphere here and is a lovely addition. We had a wonderful time playing here. It’s completely free and you can spend as long or as little as you want. You need to ask the security guard for the equipment before you start playing. It’s a brilliant centre!
Small but pleasant shopping centre very near Finchley Road tube station. The skylight roof always reminds me of Ken Adam's volcano set from the Bond movie You Only Live Twice.nThere's a decent Vue cinema with 12 screens on the first floor and on other floors both Aldi and Sainsbury supermarkets which are both open till 11pm weekday evenings. Very handy for after cinema shopping!nUnfortunately the centre was devastated by Covid and never fully recovered, losing many restaurants. The Homebase at the back of the Centre has also disappeared.nHowever, plans are underway to rejuvenate the Centre and the surrounding area, though I'm not quite sure how long this will take.
Came here for the first time so was unsure of what to expect. To be 100% honest, my experience here was not great at all! The seats were kinda uncomfortable and the cinema hall itself is really cold so I had to come out and grab a coffee to warm myself up. Even then they took 20 mns to make my coffee, they took my payment and said “please wait to the side and I’ll be with your coffee in a minute” then made me wait to the side whilst he served other customers. He totally forgot I was standing there waiting for my order for approximately 15-20 minutes whilst I also missed a good chunk of the movie I was watching. Really disappointing, the service here is quite bad. Lucky the toilets were clean! But overall, choose another cinema hall if you can.
One of the shopping centers in West Hampstead, with limited preferences for shopping. Has Aldi and Sainbury along with Vue cinemas which occupies a major part of the mall and a couple of restaurants and an art gallery and a library. Not much to choose from except you wanna do a regular shopping or watch a movie with family.
In here frequently. This place is always bright, airy and clean. Is slowly becoming a place to hang out rather than just visit; with free table tennis, chairs and tables and even a street piano.
