This place left a bitter taste in two ways. It looks promising, nice looking place, good smoothies and a delicious croissant.. then I tried the coffee and it was ghastly! Tasted like someone had smoked several cigarettes whilst making it and dropped ash in it. I sent it back and the manager had such a bad attitude. I was shocked. They replaced the coffee, grudgingly, and it was just as bad. If you like coffee, give this place a miss. If you like smoothies, it’s worth it.

This place provides in my opinion the best cup of coffee in Southsea, placed in a great, central location alongside shoppers and buskers while you sip. Reasonably priced. Staff are excellent, always a lovely smile with your coffee and your coffee / food is delivered to your table, no standing and waiting like everywhere else these days. .

I bought a basil pesto and tomato panini from here - overall it was yummy but I would have liked to have tasted a bit more pesto as I love it! I felt uncomfortable when one of the ladies forced my card into the card machine as I wasn't able to insert it. It made me feel small as I did try to get it to work. Please be mindful of how these kind of actions and facial expressions can make people feel.

Great pub with an awesome atmosphere and fantastic pints of Guinness!! There’s live music often, and a warm, family vibe. Highly recommend!

Popped in for a coffee this morning. When you see the chain coffee shops full it doesn’t half get on my nerves. We should support independent shops. The staff were great and very friendly even brought our coffee to us which is good through covid as this doesn’t promote people hovering around waiting. Covid safe environment with hand sanitiser and screens positioned perfectly. Coffee was great, will definitely return!

Food was brilliant and staff were lovely. Can’t ask for more.

I became a regular to this place now. I especially like their fresh salads and the Popeye smoothieFood: 5/5

Although the location is great and the staff were kind, the coffee however, was terrible. Coffee is sweeter and tastier when it is not burnt through the machine. It also tasted like the machine hadn’t been cleaned and rinsed properly. The general vibe of the cafe is rather canteen like and cold, lacking individuality and personality in its decor. I wouldn’t have minded any of this had the coffee been decent. The plants are a nice touch and the menu is well priced. It’s such a shame that the coffee has let the experience down.

One of the many eating places in the Palmerston Road area. Food was freshly made and hot  Coffee was good. Price wise, as with everywhere else, has gone up in the last year  Staff could be a bit more welcoming and friendly. The place was not too busy for a Sunday morning.
