A really nice Scandinavian inspired bar with a great selection of interesting food and drink veg stew, smorgasbord, bords, a few cakes etc. Not overly large inside, but about average for cafes in that area I think. One of my favourite cafes for the food.
This is my daily coffee shop and I am grateful there is such good coffee and friendly staff right around the corner from my office! Nearly all of the baristas know me by name, the coffee is consistently of good quality, and it's a fantastic place to meet with friends. There's no wifi, which surprised me at first, but overall a great place for coffee.
Bought a vegan sandwich and a chicken sandwich with flat white coffee and Belfast brew tea. £20.04 altogether. Extremely overpriced for what you get. The size of the flat white was tiny and the chicken in the sandwich didn’t look that cooked. I won’t be returning.
One of the best coffee in town, but I want to comment on the "dog friendly" aspect that has helped the reputation of the cafe notably on Ormeau road. First, in both venues Ormeau and Botanic there is very limited place that is ok with dogs - the stools by the front window. Second, my experience on Botanic recently was disappointing: I asked for a bowl of water, or any container for my dog, and the waiter, standing in front of many plastic containers, shrugged it off saying they had nothing, couldn't care less. Quite surprising as many cafes and restaurants that are NOT dog friendly have a drinking bowl outside. They don't and don't seem to care. But, maybe the waiter just had a bad day...
Becoming my favourite cafe in Belfast. Incredible coffee and great atmosphere especially that music playlist. On the pricier side, but it's such a treat to go here.Food: 5/5
My favourite coffe shop! I love everything . They have a unique brand style and amazing staff working them. I love cappuccino and also the dark chocolate cake with caramel. They have really healthy food "different types of salads". I'll be back as usual. They are so good that's why they are growing so fast. I will highly recommended this place.
If you want a bigger coffee shop that you can spend some time in carrying on with work visit here! Staff were friendly and the food was well traditionally Nordic cold boiled egg. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is it's lack of filter coffee option. This is always a must for me! But the flat whites are delicious!
Kaffe-O has very sleek and simple interior space, very bright and cozy, just like the Danish word Hygge. The vinyl player at the corner is probably the star in the shop, tunes floating from it enriches the whole experience. What also amazes me was their way of running business. Kaffe-O dedicates to introduce Nordic style coffee break to customers even probably Danish merchandise and beautiful Nordic themed food options. I wasn't too impressed by their dark roasted coffee but I assume it's quite necessary when ordering a rich plate for breakfast or lunch.
The coffee is excellent. Lovely cosy cafe, clean and friendly staff.
