Very nice soup and food but a terrible, terrible service... Came in here at lunchtime today for a quick takeaway soup and ended up waiting 30 minutes with no explanation. Had walked 15 minutes to get there so the way back was more of a sprint. Instead of an apology or an explanation for the lengthy wait, the server instead handed us our soup and said "see ya later guys!". Now don't get me wrong, the food in here is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. There appears to be a lot of staff buzzing around behind the tills whilst doing very little. I think they need someone in here with a bit of common sense to improve the whole system as people will be undoubtedly using this place for lunch whilst at work. This isn't the first time I've been delayed in here for no apparent reason but never for this long. I was willing to give them a by ball for the other occasions but I think having been established for a reasonable amount of time, it's time to sort their processes out before they drive away customers.
The cappuccinos and baked goods were lovely but the service was chaotic. The number service for your food clearly did not work. We waited over 30 minutes for our sandwiches. The waiting staff were not the most observant and gave our sandwiches to a table that had ordered none. They even tried to give them away to someone else the second time!! The sandwiches were nice when they eventually arrived.
Great atmosphere at a great location! Staff very friendly. Many many bread options, freshly made in a bakery just there in front of you, with a massive glass window. You can see the bakers making the delicious bread you can have there.
this place is really in need. as the way to the titanic is far away from city center,it is ver cold and tired to walk to there. and a cup of coffee is a great warmmer in winter. Also i found the cake is really nice. salty and sweety flavour. soft cake .cream.. wonderful

Anytime i am in Belfast i have to drop into Belfast baking company for dinner food is TOP CLASS . Staff are brilliant. very clean restaurant would def recommend it to everybody
I had their breakfast of Eggs Royale and it was absolutely gorgeous. Great desserts selection too!
I love the sour dough bread. I haven't eaten there since it was refurbished, so I cannot comment, but it was good before.
Breakfast was nice when it eventually arrived. The forgot us , had to be reminded and then when it came, my girlfriends order was wrong. Dissapointed.
Have been going there for breakfast three days in a row. Love everything they offer in this cafe!
